Setup & Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Clean measuring cup
  • Fresh water
  • Paper towels
  • Keurig® descaling solution (for maintenance)
  • Compatible K-Cup® pods

Step-by-Step Initial Setup

  1. Unpack and Place: Remove all packaging materials. Place brewer on a flat, stable surface away from heat sources and water splashes.
  2. Water Reservoir: Remove water reservoir, fill with fresh cold water, and securely replace on brewer.
  3. Power Connection: Plug brewer into a grounded 120V outlet. Ensure outlet is not controlled by a wall switch.
  4. Initial Rinse: Without a K-Cup® pod, place a mug on drip tray and run a cleansing brew cycle (largest cup size).
  5. Prime Brewer: Run 2-3 additional water-only brew cycles to prime the system and remove any manufacturing residues.
  6. Insert K-Cup®: Lift handle, insert your choice of K-Cup® pod, close handle firmly.
  7. First Brew: Select cup size and start your first brew cycle.
Important: Always use clean, cold water. Never use distilled, sparkling, or previously boiled water in your Keurig® brewer.

Troubleshooting
