Unpacking & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on a stable, level, and dry countertop.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers.
  2. Wash the removable water reservoir and drip tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
  3. Place the brewer on the counter, ensuring at least 4 inches of clearance above and behind.
  4. Fill the reservoir with fresh, cold water and slide it into place.
  5. Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V outlet.

WARNING! Do not use the brewer without water. Ensure the reservoir is properly seated.

First-Time Use

Power on the brewer; the touchscreen will illuminate. Follow the initial setup prompts.

  1. Prime the system: The brewer will prompt you to run a water-only brew cycle (no pod). Place a large mug on the drip tray.
  2. Select your language: Use the touchscreen to choose ENGLISH (default).
  3. Set the time: Configure the clock for accurate auto-off timing.
  4. Enable/disable Smart Start: Choose if you want brewing to start automatically upon pod insertion.
  5. Brew your first cup: Insert a K-Cup pod, select your brew size, and press BREW.

CAUTION! The first few brews may produce slight odors or discolored water—this is normal.

Controls & Display

Primary controls are accessed via the touchscreen. Physical buttons: POWER, STRENGTH, HOT WATER.

Touchscreen Icons: Brew Size, Temperature, Strength, Settings Menu, Clock, Descaling Alert.

Settings Menu: Language, Time, Auto-Off (On/Off), Smart Start (On/Off), Factory Reset, Descaling Mode. Brew Customization: Select brew size, adjust temperature (5 levels), adjust strength (Mild, Medium, Bold).

Brewing Coffee

Brewing with a K-Cup pod is simple and fast.

  1. Ensure the brewer is on and ready (screen shows "Ready").
  2. Lift and lower the handle to open the pod holder.
  3. Insert a K-Cup pod. Close the handle firmly.
  4. Place a mug (minimum 5 oz. capacity) on the drip tray.
  5. On the touchscreen, select your desired brew size (e.g., 8 oz.).
  6. Press the flashing BREW button. Brewing begins immediately.
  7. When brewing is complete, lift the handle to eject the used pod into the storage drawer.

Tip: For hot water, press the HOT WATER button, select size, and press BREW.

Customizing Your Brew

Adjust strength, temperature, and brew size for your perfect cup.

  1. Strength Control: Before brewing, press the STRENGTH button or select it on screen. Choose Mild, Medium, or Bold.
  2. Temperature Control: In the settings menu or before brewing, select TEMPERATURE. Choose from 5 levels (187°F to 192°F).
  3. Brew Size: Always select your desired size before brewing. Larger sizes extract more water for a fuller cup.
  4. Favorite Settings: The brewer remembers your last used size, strength, and temperature.

Note: Strength control works by varying water flow rate and time.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity.

Daily: Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. Empty the drip tray and used pod drawer.

Weekly: Remove and wash the water reservoir and drip tray in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.

Monthly: Run a water-only brew cycle (no pod) to flush the internal system. Clean the pod holder with a damp cloth.

Descaling: Perform when the descale alert appears on screen (approx. every 3-6 months). Use Keurig Descaling Solution or vinegar solution as per instructions in the settings menu.

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Never immerse the brewer in water. Use only approved descaling solutions.

Troubleshooting
