Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a clean, level, stable surface near a power outlet.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers from the brewer.
  2. Wash the water reservoir with warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry.
  3. Insert the water reservoir into the back of the brewer until it clicks into place.
  4. Fill the reservoir with fresh, cold water. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
  5. Plug the power cord into a 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Ensure the brewer is unplugged during initial setup. Keep away from heat sources and water splashes.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewer before first use to clear air from the internal lines.

  1. Power on the brewer by pressing the Power button. The button will illuminate.
  2. Lift and close the handle without inserting a K-Cup pod.
  3. Place a large mug (at least 12 oz.) on the drip tray.
  4. Select the 12 oz. brew size and press the Brew button. Run three full brewing cycles with water only.
  5. The brewer is now ready for use with K-Cup pods.

CAUTION! The water and brewed beverage will be hot. Handle with care.

Operation: Press Power to turn on (blue light). Select cup size (button illuminates). Press Strong for bolder coffee (light turns on). Lift handle, insert K-Cup, close handle, place mug, press Brew.

Auto-Off: Brewer turns off automatically after 2 hours. Press Power to wake.

Descale Indicator: Red light alerts when mineral buildup requires descaling.

Brewing Coffee

Brews a single cup in under a minute.

  1. Ensure brewer is on and water reservoir is filled.
  2. Lift the handle to open the K-Cup pod holder.
  3. Insert a K-Cup pod. Close the handle firmly.
  4. Place a mug on the drip tray.
  5. Select your desired cup size (4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 oz.).
  6. For stronger coffee, press the Strong button before brewing.
  7. Press the Brew button. The brewing cycle will begin.
  8. When brewing is complete, lift the handle to eject the used pod.

Tip: For best results, use fresh, cold water. Rinse the mug with hot water first to pre-heat it.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and taste.

  1. Exterior: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
  2. Drip Tray & Reservoir: Remove and wash with warm, soapy water weekly. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  3. K-Cup Holder: Remove pod holder assembly (if removable per model) and rinse to clear coffee grounds.
  4. Needles: Unplug brewer. Use a paper clip to gently clear clogged needles in the top and bottom of the pod holder.

CAUTION! Always unplug the brewer before cleaning any internal parts. Never use sharp objects other than a paper clip on the needles.

Descaling

Descaling removes mineral buildup from internal lines. Perform when Descale light illuminates or every 3-6 months.

  1. Empty and rinse the water reservoir.
  2. Fill with 16 oz. of white vinegar and 16 oz. of water.
  3. Place a large mug on the drip tray.
  4. Press and hold the 8 oz. and 12 oz. buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter descale mode.
  5. Press the Brew button. It will run a descaling cycle. Repeat until the ADD WATER light comes on.
  6. Rinse reservoir thoroughly, refill with fresh water, and run multiple brewing cycles (without a pod) to rinse the system.
  7. Exit descale mode by pressing the Power button.

WARNING! Use only Keurig descaling solution or white vinegar. Do not use other descalers.
