Unpacking and Setup

Remove all packaging materials and inspect contents. Place on a stable, level surface.

  1. Remove water reservoir: Lift off and fill with fresh, cold water.
  2. Reattach reservoir: Ensure it clicks securely into place.
  3. Plug into a 120V AC outlet: Use a dedicated outlet.
  4. Prime the brewer: Follow first-time use instructions.

WARNING! Do not use the brewer without water. Keep away from heat sources and moisture.

First-Time Use

Power on the brewer; allow it to complete its initial heating cycle.

  1. Prime the system: Run water through without a pod to flush the lines.
  2. Select brew size: Press desired size button (e.g., 8 oz).
  3. Insert a K-Cup pod: Lift handle, place pod, close firmly.
  4. Start brewing: Place mug and press brew button.
  5. Set auto-off: Press and hold power button to program.

CAUTION! The exterior may become hot during use. Handle with care.

Controls and Settings

Control Panel: Power button, Brew size buttons (6, 8, 10, 12, 14 oz), Strength control button, Hot water button, Add water indicator, Descaling alert light.

Operation: Press power to turn on (blue light). Select brew size. Press strength for bolder coffee (light turns orange). Press hot water for hot water only.

Settings: Auto-off programmable (default 2 hours). To change, press and hold power button until light flashes. Press brew size to select 2 hr or off.

Brewing Coffee

Supports K-Cup and K-Mug pods.

  1. Ensure brewer is on and ready (blue light solid).
  2. Lift handle to open brew chamber.
  3. Insert K-Cup pod (any orientation).
  4. Close handle firmly.
  5. Place mug on drip tray.
  6. Select brew size (press button).
  7. Press brew button to start.
  8. For stronger coffee, press strength button before brewing.
  9. Remove pod after brewing (handle lifts automatically).

Tip: Use filtered water for better taste and to reduce mineral buildup.

Hot Water Function

Dispenses hot water for tea, soup, oatmeal, etc.

  1. Ensure brewer is on and ready.
  2. Place mug on drip tray.
  3. Press hot water button.
  4. Select desired water amount (6-14 oz).
  5. Press brew button to dispense.

WARNING! Water is very hot. Keep hands and body clear.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Wipe exterior with damp cloth. Clean drip tray and reservoir regularly.

Weekly: Remove and wash drip tray and reservoir in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry.

Monthly: Clean needle and brew chamber with paperclip to remove pod residue.

CAUTION! Do not immerse brewer in water. Never use abrasive cleaners.

Descaling Procedure

Descale when alert light turns on or every 3-6 months.

  1. Fill reservoir with descaling solution or white vinegar/water mix.
  2. Place large mug or bowl on drip tray.
  3. Press power and hot water buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
  4. Press brew button to start descaling cycle.
  5. Repeat until reservoir is empty.
  6. Rinse reservoir thoroughly and fill with fresh water.
  7. Run multiple brew cycles (without pod) to flush system.

Note: Use Keurig descaling solution or approved alternatives.

Troubleshooting
