Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash removable parts: Rinse water reservoir and drip tray with warm water.
  3. Position brewer: Place on stable counter away from heat sources and edges.
  4. Fill water reservoir: Remove tank, fill with fresh cold water, reinsert firmly.
  5. Plug into 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first brew.

  1. Power on: Press POWER button; lights will illuminate.
  2. Prime system: Without K-Cup pod, place mug, select largest cup size, start brew cycle. Repeat 2-3 times.
  3. Insert K-Cup: Lift handle, place pod in chamber, close firmly.
  4. Select cup size: Choose 6 oz, 8 oz, or 10 oz based on preference.
  5. Start brewing: Press brew button; cycle completes in under 60 seconds.

CAUTION! Hot surfaces during and after brewing. Keep hands clear.

Operation: Press POWER to turn on (blue light). Select cup size (button lights up). Press same button again to start brew. Auto-off after 90 seconds idle.

Settings: No programmable settings. Cup size determines water volume and brew strength. Descaling light illuminates when maintenance required.

Brewing Coffee

Daily brewing procedure.

  1. Ensure water reservoir is filled to desired level.
  2. Power on brewer (POWER button).
  3. Lift handle, insert K-Cup pod, close handle firmly.
  4. Place mug on drip tray (remove tray for travel mugs).
  5. Select cup size: 6 oz (strong), 8 oz (medium), 10 oz (mild).
  6. Press illuminated cup size button to start brew.
  7. Brewing completes automatically; discard used pod.
  8. Brewer enters standby; auto-off after 90 seconds.

Tip: For hotter coffee, run water-only cycle first to preheat system.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth; empty drip tray.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash water reservoir, drip tray, funnel with warm soapy water.
  3. Monthly: Clean needle that pierces K-Cup with paperclip (unplug first).
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator light illuminates.

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Never immerse brewer in water.

Descaling Procedure

Required every 3-6 months or when descale light illuminates.

  1. Purchase Keurig descaling solution or use vinegar-water mix (50/50).
  2. Fill reservoir with descaling solution.
  3. Place large mug (at least 20 oz) on drip tray.
  4. Power on brewer, lift and close handle without pod.
  5. Press 10 oz button repeatedly to dispense entire reservoir.
  6. Turn off brewer, let sit 30 minutes.
  7. Rinse reservoir thoroughly, fill with fresh water.
  8. Repeat brewing process with clean water 5-6 times to rinse.
  9. Descale light will turn off after completion.
