Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Unpack and Place Brewer: Remove all packaging materials. Place brewer on a flat, stable surface away from heat sources and water splashes.
  2. Install Water Filter: Soak charcoal filter in water for 5 minutes, rinse, then insert into filter handle. Install in water reservoir.
  3. Fill Water Reservoir: Remove reservoir, fill with fresh cold water, and reinsert into brewer. Do not exceed MAX fill line.
  4. Power On: Plug brewer into a grounded 120V outlet. Press power button to turn on.
  5. Prime the System: The brewer will automatically prime on first use. Run water through without a K-Cup pod to flush the system.
  6. Set Auto-Off: Configure auto-off timer (2 hours default) to save energy when not in use.
  7. First Brew: Insert a K-Cup pod, place mug on drip tray, select cup size, and press brew button.
Important: Always use genuine Keurig K-Cup pods. Descale your brewer every 3-6 months depending on water hardness.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Brewer won't turn on Power issue, not plugged in properly Check power outlet, ensure plug is fully inserted, try different outlet
Weak or no coffee flow Clogged needles, air lock in system Clean exit needle with paperclip, run water-only brew cycles

Common Error Indicators

  • Add Water: Water reservoir empty or not seated properly - Refill and reseat reservoir
  • Descale: Mineral buildup detected - Run descaling procedure immediately
  • Prime: Air in water line - Run multiple water-only brew cycles
  • Overheating: Brewer too hot - Unplug for 30 minutes to cool down
  • Not Ready: Heating in progress - Wait for ready light to illuminate
  • Clogged: Needle obstruction - Clean exit needle with provided tool
