Step-by-Step Setup
- Unpack Your Brewer: Remove all packaging materials from the brewer and accessories.
- Choose Location: Place on a flat, stable surface near an electrical outlet and away from heat sources.
- Initial Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Never immerse the brewer in water.
- Water Reservoir: Fill the reservoir with fresh, cold water. Do not use distilled or softened water.
- Prime the Brewer: Run water through the brewer without a K-Cup® pod to clean the internal lines.
- Power Connection: Plug into a 120V, 60Hz grounded outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
- First Brew: Insert a K-Cup® pod and brew your first cup to complete the setup process.

Troubleshooting

| Brewer won't turn on | Power issue, not plugged in properly | Check power supply, ensure brewer is plugged into grounded outlet |
| Weak coffee or small cup | Clogged needle, mineral buildup | Clean exit needle, descale the brewer |

Error Codes & Lights
- Add Water: Water reservoir is empty or not properly seated
- Descale: Mineral buildup detected - time to descale
- Prime: Brewer needs priming - run water through without K-Cup®
- Overheating: Brewer too hot - unplug and let cool for 30 minutes
- Not Ready: Water not heated to proper temperature yet
- General Error: Multiple flashes - contact customer service
