Initial Setup Steps

  1. Unpack and Place: Remove all packaging materials. Place coffee maker on a flat, stable surface near an electrical outlet.
  2. Water Reservoir: Lift the handle and remove the water reservoir. Rinse thoroughly before first use.
  3. Install Water Filter: Soak charcoal water filter for 5 minutes, then insert into filter handle and install in reservoir.
  4. Prime the System: Fill reservoir with fresh water, place a large mug on drip tray, and run several brew cycles without a K-Cup pod.
  5. Power Connection: Plug into a standard 120V electrical outlet. The power button will illuminate.
  6. First Brew: Insert a K-Cup pod, close the handle, select your cup size, and press the brew button.
  7. Descaling Setup: Program the descaling reminder based on your water hardness and usage frequency.
Important: Always use the drip tray when brewing. Never operate without water in the reservoir.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
