Initial Setup & Preparation

Before first use, clean all parts thoroughly.

  1. Disassemble: Separate the lid, filter basket, and main cup.
  2. Wash: Wash with warm, soapy water. Rinse well. (Dishwasher top rack safe).
  3. Dry: Allow all parts to air dry completely before first use.
  4. Grind Coffee: Use a medium-coarse grind. Avoid espresso-fine grinds as they can clog the filter.

CAUTION! Do not use boiling water or abrasive cleaners on the mesh filter.

Brewing Instructions

Follow these steps for optimal coffee.

  1. Fill: Place the filter basket into the cup. Add ground coffee. Do not overfill. Level off without packing tightly. (Recommended: 1-2 tablespoons).
  2. Assemble: Place the lid on top and press down until it snaps or seals securely.
  3. Insert: Open your Keurig brewer handle. Remove any disposable pod. Place the filled Reusable K Cup into the K-Cup holder.
  4. Brew: Close the handle. Place your mug on the drip tray. Select your desired cup size (6oz, 8oz, 10oz) and start the brew cycle.
  5. Remove & Empty: After brewing, wait a moment for the cup to cool. Open the handle, carefully remove the hot Reusable K Cup by its handle. Discard the used grounds and rinse immediately.

TIP: For stronger coffee, use more grounds or select a smaller brew size. For weaker coffee, use fewer grounds.
