Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials from brewer and water reservoir.
  2. Wash water reservoir with warm, soapy water; rinse thoroughly.
  3. Place drip tray in position; adjust height if using tall mug.
  4. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water; insert into brewer.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure brewer is on stable surface away from edges.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first brew.

  1. Power on: Press POWER button; lights will illuminate.
  2. Prime: Without K-Cup pod, place mug on drip tray, press 12 oz brew button to run water through system.
  3. Repeat priming cycle 2-3 times to flush internal lines.
  4. Insert K-Cup pod, select desired brew size, and brew first cup.

CAUTION! Water will be hot. Keep hands clear during brewing cycle.

Brewing Coffee

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth; empty drip tray and used pod holder.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash water reservoir, drip tray, and pod holder in warm, soapy water.
  3. Monthly: Clean needle that pierces K-Cup pod with paperclip to prevent clogs.

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Do not immerse brewer in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale when indicator light illuminates or every 3-6 months.

  1. Fill reservoir with descaling solution or white vinegar/water mix.
  2. Place large mug or container on drip tray.
  3. Press POWER, then 12 oz brew button repeatedly until reservoir is empty.
  4. Rinse reservoir; refill with fresh water; repeat brewing cycles to rinse system.
  5. Repeat rinse cycle 2-3 times to remove all descaling solution.
