Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials from brewer and reservoir.
  2. Wash water reservoir with warm, soapy water; rinse thoroughly.
  3. Place reservoir on back of brewer, ensuring it clicks into place.
  4. Plug power cord into grounded 120V outlet.
  5. Fill reservoir with fresh, cold water.

WARNING! Do not use hot water in reservoir. Ensure brewer is on stable surface away from edges.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first brew.

  1. Power on brewer using Power button.
  2. Lift and close brew handle without inserting pod.
  3. Place mug on drip tray.
  4. Select largest cup size (12oz) and press brew button.
  5. Repeat process 2-3 times until water runs clear.
  6. Brewer is now ready for use with K-Cup pods.

CAUTION! First few brews may have slight plastic taste; this is normal and will dissipate.

Controls and Settings

Access settings via touch display. Front Panel: Power, Brew, Hot Water, Strength.

Display Menu: Brew Size selection, Strength Control, Auto On/Off programming, Water Filter status, Descaling mode.

Brew Size: Select from 5 options. Strength: Adjust from Mild to Strong. Auto On/Off: Set daily schedule. Water Filter: Indicator for filter replacement. Descaling: Initiate descaling process when prompted.

Brewing Coffee

Brew single cups using K-Cup pods.

  1. Power on brewer; wait for ready indicator.
  2. Lift brew handle and insert K-Cup pod.
  3. Close handle firmly until it clicks.
  4. Place mug on drip tray (up to 7.2" tall).
  5. Select desired brew size on display.
  6. Adjust strength if desired (default: Medium).
  7. Press Brew button; brewing begins immediately.
  8. Remove mug when brewing completes.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use smaller cup size or adjust Strength setting.

Hot Water Function

Dispense hot water for beverages other than coffee.

  1. Ensure brewer is powered on and ready.
  2. Place cup or container on drip tray.
  3. Press Hot Water button on display.
  4. Select desired amount (4oz-12oz).
  5. Hot water dispenses immediately.
  6. Function stops automatically when selected amount is reached.

WARNING! Hot water is near boiling temperature; use caution when handling.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Do not immerse brewer in water.

Descaling

Descale when indicator light appears or every 3-6 months.

  1. Empty water reservoir and fill with descaling solution or white vinegar.
  2. Place large container (at least 40oz) on drip tray.
  3. Access Descaling mode in Settings menu.
  4. Follow on-screen prompts to run solution through system.
  5. Rinse thoroughly by running multiple reservoirs of clean water.
  6. Reset descale indicator in Settings when complete.

Important: Regular descaling prevents mineral buildup and maintains heating efficiency.
