Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a clean, level, and stable surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash the water reservoir and drip tray with warm, soapy water; rinse and dry.
  3. Fill the reservoir with fresh, cold water and place it back on the brewer.
  4. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use the brewer without water. Ensure the power cord is not damaged and the outlet is easily accessible.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Power on the brewer by pressing the POWER button.
  2. Place a large mug (at least 10 oz) on the drip tray.
  3. Lift and close the brewer handle without inserting a K-Cup pod.
  4. Select the largest cup size (10 oz) and press BREW. Run three full cycles without a pod to flush the system.
  5. After priming, the brewer is ready for normal use.

CAUTION! Water will be hot. Keep hands and face away from the brew head during priming.

Controls and Settings

Control Panel: POWER, BREW, CUP SIZE (6 oz, 8 oz, 10 oz), ADD WATER indicator, DESCALE indicator.

Programming: Hold the 10 oz button for 3 seconds to enter programming mode. Use cup size buttons to set auto-off time (2, 4, or 6 hours). Press BREW to save.

Brew Strength Control: Not available on K70 (fixed brew pressure). Water Filter: Compatible with Keurig water filter (sold separately) to reduce scale and improve taste.

Brewing Coffee

Brews one cup at a time using K-Cup pods.

  1. Ensure the brewer is on and the water reservoir is filled.
  2. Lift the handle and insert a K-Cup pod into the pod holder.
  3. Close the handle firmly.
  4. Place a mug on the drip tray.
  5. Select desired cup size (6 oz, 8 oz, 10 oz).
  6. Press BREW. The cycle completes in under a minute.
  7. After brewing, lift the handle to eject the used pod.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use the smallest cup size (6 oz) with the same pod. Preheat your mug with hot water for hotter coffee.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and taste.

  1. Unplug the brewer and allow it to cool before cleaning.
  2. Remove and wash the water reservoir and drip tray weekly with warm, soapy water.
  3. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  4. Clean the needle that pierces the K-Cup: Unplug brewer, lift handle, use a paperclip to gently clear any coffee grounds from the upper and lower needles.
  5. Run a water-only brew cycle monthly to flush the internal system.

CAUTION! Never immerse the brewer base, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.

Descaling

Descale every 3-6 months or when the DESCALE light illuminates.

  1. Purchase Keurig Descaling Solution or use a vinegar solution (1 part white vinegar to 3 parts water).
  2. Fill the reservoir with the descaling solution.
  3. Place a large mug on the drip tray.
  4. Run multiple brew cycles (without a pod) until the reservoir is empty.
  5. Refill the reservoir with fresh water and run several cycles to rinse thoroughly.
  6. The DESCALE light will turn off after the process is complete.

WARNING! Descaling is essential to prevent mineral buildup that can damage the brewer. Follow instructions carefully.
