Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials from water reservoir and brew chamber.
  2. Place drip tray in position and adjust height if needed.
  3. Fill water reservoir with fresh cold water and reattach to brewer.
  4. Plug power cord into 120V AC outlet.
  5. Turn power switch to ON position.

WARNING! Do not use without water in reservoir. Keep away from heat sources and moisture.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Power on brewer; display will show "ADD WATER" if reservoir is empty.
  2. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water to MAX line.
  3. Place a mug on drip tray (at least 10 oz capacity).
  4. Without K-Cup pod, press and hold 10 oz brew button until brewing starts.
  5. Allow full cycle to complete; repeat 2-3 times to flush system.
  6. Brewer is now ready for normal use with K-Cup pods.

CAUTION! Use only cold, fresh water. Do not use distilled or sparkling water.

Controls and Settings

Control Panel: POWER button, Brew Size buttons (6/8/10 oz), STRENGTH button, AUTO ON/OFF button, DESCALE indicator.

Programming: Press AUTO ON/OFF to set automatic start time (0-24 hours). Press STRENGTH to toggle between regular and strong brew. Use brew size buttons to select cup volume.

Display Indicators: READY (green), HEATING (red), ADD WATER (flashing), DESCALE (amber), AUTO ON (blue).

Brewing Coffee

Follow these steps for perfect coffee every time.

  1. Ensure brewer is powered on and READY light is illuminated.
  2. Lift handle to open brew chamber.
  3. Insert K-Cup pod (any variety).
  4. Close handle firmly until it clicks.
  5. Place mug on drip tray (minimum 6 oz capacity).
  6. Select brew size: Press 6, 8, or 10 oz button.
  7. Brewing begins automatically; completes in about 60 seconds.
  8. Remove mug when brewing stops.
  9. Discard used K-Cup pod by lifting handle.

Tip: For stronger coffee, press STRENGTH button before brewing.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth; empty drip tray.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash water reservoir in warm soapy water.
  3. Monthly: Clean brew chamber with damp cloth; descale as needed.
  4. As needed: Replace water filter (if using filtered reservoir).

CAUTION! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Never immerse in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale when indicator light illuminates or every 3-6 months.

  1. Fill reservoir with 48 oz white vinegar or Keurig descaling solution.
  2. Place large mug or bowl on drip tray (at least 20 oz capacity).
  3. Press and hold AUTO ON and 10 oz buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
  4. Press 10 oz button to start descaling cycle.
  5. Repeat until ADD WATER light illuminates.
  6. Empty reservoir, rinse thoroughly, and refill with fresh water.
  7. Run multiple water-only cycles to rinse system completely.

WARNING! Do not use descaling solutions other than vinegar or Keurig brand.
