Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials from brewer and reservoir.
  2. Fill water reservoir: Remove, fill with fresh cold water, and reattach.
  3. Plug into 120V AC outlet.
  4. Place a mug on drip tray.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure brewer is on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from edges.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewer before first brew.

  1. Power on: Press POWER button; display will light.
  2. Prime system: Without a K-Cup, place mug, press 10 oz brew button. Repeat 3 times.
  3. Insert K-Cup: Lift handle, place K-Cup in holder, close firmly.
  4. Select brew size: Press 6 oz, 8 oz, or 10 oz button.
  5. Start brew: Press BREW button; cycle completes in under a minute.

CAUTION! Water and brewed coffee are hot. Avoid contact with steam.

Control Panel: POWER button, BREW button, 6 oz, 8 oz, 10 oz buttons, LCD display, DESCALING indicator light.

Programming Brew Sizes: Press and hold desired brew size button until light flashes. Brew to desired volume, then press same button to save.

Auto-Off: Brewer turns off 90 seconds after last brew. To disable, press and hold POWER for 3 seconds (display shows "ON"). To re-enable, repeat.

Descale Indicator: Flashing light signals need for descaling.

Brewing Coffee

Brews one cup at a time using K-Cup pods.

  1. Power on brewer; ensure water reservoir is filled.
  2. Lift handle, insert K-Cup, close handle firmly.
  3. Place mug on drip tray.
  4. Select brew size (6 oz, 8 oz, 10 oz).
  5. Press BREW button; brewing begins immediately.
  6. When done, lift handle to eject used K-Cup.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use smaller brew size with same K-Cup.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Exterior: Wipe with damp cloth; do not immerse in water.
  2. Drip tray & pod holder: Remove and wash with warm, soapy water weekly.
  3. Water reservoir: Remove, wash with mild detergent, rinse thoroughly.
  4. Needle: Use paper clip to clear any pod residue (unplug first).

CAUTION! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Never use abrasive cleaners.

Descaling Procedure

Descale every 3-6 months or when indicator lights.

  1. Fill reservoir with 16 oz white vinegar and 16 oz water.
  2. Place large mug (at least 20 oz) on drip tray.
  3. Press and hold 6 oz and 10 oz buttons for 3 seconds; "DESCALE" appears.
  4. Press BREW; repeat until "ADD WATER" appears.
  5. Rinse: Fill reservoir with fresh water, brew repeatedly (no K-Cup) until vinegar smell is gone.

WARNING! Use only vinegar or Keurig descaling solution. Do not drink descaling solution.

Troubleshooting
