Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials from brewer and components.
  2. Wash water reservoir: Remove and rinse with warm water.
  3. Fill reservoir: Place back on brewer and fill with fresh water.
  4. Plug into 120V AC outlet.
  5. Prime brewer: Run water-only brew cycles (no K-Cup) to flush system.

WARNING! Do not use brewer without water. Keep away from heat sources and moisture.

First-Time Use

Power on brewer; follow priming procedure.

  1. Power on: Press POWER button; wait for ready light.
  2. Prime system: Place mug, press BREW without K-Cup; repeat 3 times.
  3. Select brew size: Press SIZE button to choose 6, 8, or 10 oz.
  4. Insert K-Cup: Lift handle, place K-Cup, close firmly.
  5. Brew: Press BREW button; cycle completes in under 1 minute.

CAUTION! Brewer and water will be hot. Keep hands clear during brew cycle.

Operation: POWER turns brewer on/off. SIZE cycles through brew volumes. BREW starts brewing cycle. Descale light illuminates when system needs cleaning.

Settings: Brew size memory retains last selection. Auto-off activates after 2 hours of inactivity. Water filter compatible (optional).

Brewing Coffee

Supports all K-Cup pod varieties including coffee, tea, hot cocoa.

  1. Ensure brewer is on and ready light is illuminated.
  2. Place mug on drip tray.
  3. Lift handle, insert K-Cup pod, close handle firmly.
  4. Select brew size (6, 8, or 10 oz) using SIZE button.
  5. Press BREW button; brewing begins immediately.
  6. Wait for cycle to complete; discard used pod.
  7. For another cup, repeat steps 2-6.

Tip: Preheat mug with hot water for hotter coffee. Use filtered water for better taste.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth. Weekly: Clean water reservoir and drip tray.

  1. Unplug brewer before cleaning.
  2. Remove and wash water reservoir with warm, soapy water.
  3. Clean drip tray and removable parts.
  4. Wipe brew chamber with damp cloth (do not immerse).
  5. Descale every 3-6 months depending on water hardness.

CAUTION! Never immerse brewer in water. Use only mild detergent.

Descaling Procedure

Required when descale indicator lights or every 3-6 months.

  1. Fill reservoir with descaling solution or white vinegar/water mix.
  2. Place large mug (at least 20 oz) on drip tray.
  3. Press POWER and BREW buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
  4. Press BREW to start descale cycle; repeat until reservoir empty.
  5. Rinse reservoir, fill with fresh water, run multiple water-only cycles.
  6. Descale light turns off when process complete.
