Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place brewer on a stable, level, and dry surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers.
  2. Wash the removable water reservoir and drip tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
  3. Place the drip tray in position.
  4. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water and reattach it to the brewer.
  5. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use the brewer without water in the reservoir. Ensure the brewer is placed away from heat sources and edges.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Press the POWER button to turn the brewer on. The indicator light will blink while heating.
  2. When the light turns solid, the brewer is ready.
  3. Without a K-Cup pod, place a mug on the drip tray, lower the handle, and press the 10 oz brew button to run water through the system. Repeat 2-3 times.
  4. The brewer is now ready for normal use.

CAUTION! The water and brewed beverage will be hot. Handle with care.

Controls and Indicators

Front Panel: POWER button, 6 oz, 8 oz, and 10 oz brew buttons, Power/Ready indicator light, Descale indicator light.

Operation: Press POWER to turn on. Indicator blinks during heating, becomes solid when ready. Select brew size after inserting a K-Cup pod. The descale light will illuminate when mineral buildup requires attention.

Auto-Off: Brewer automatically powers down 2 hours after last brew to save energy.

Brewing Coffee

Brews one cup at a time using a K-Cup pod.

  1. Ensure brewer is on and ready (solid light).
  2. Lift the handle to open the K-Cup holder.
  3. Insert a K-Cup pod. Close the handle firmly.
  4. Place a mug (up to 7 inches tall) on the drip tray.
  5. Press the desired brew size button (6 oz, 8 oz, or 10 oz). Brewing will begin.
  6. When brewing is complete, lift the handle to eject the used pod into the storage compartment (if equipped) or remove it manually.

Tip: For a stronger brew, select a smaller cup size. Run a water-only brew cycle to clean between different coffee varieties.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and taste.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. Empty the drip tray and used pod holder.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash the water reservoir and drip tray in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Monthly: Clean the needle that pierces the K-Cup pod. Unplug brewer, lift handle, and use a paperclip to gently clear any coffee grounds from the exit needle.

WARNING! Always unplug the brewer before cleaning any part except the removable reservoir and drip tray. Never immerse the brewer base in water.

Descaling

Mineral buildup from water affects performance. Descale when the indicator light illuminates or every 3-6 months.

  1. Purchase Keurig Descaling Solution or use a vinegar-water mix (1:1).
  2. Fill the water reservoir with the descaling solution.
  3. Place a large mug on the drip tray.
  4. Press POWER, then press and hold the 10 oz and 8 oz buttons for 3 seconds to enter descale mode.
  5. Run multiple brew cycles (without a K-Cup) until the reservoir is empty.
  6. Rinse thoroughly by filling the reservoir with fresh water and running several brew cycles to flush the system.

CAUTION! Follow descaling instructions precisely. Rinse thoroughly to remove all cleaning solution taste.

Care & Storage

Unplug and allow to cool before storage. Store in a dry place. Empty water reservoir completely.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Do not store with water in the reservoir.
