Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Place on a flat, stable surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash the water reservoir with warm, soapy water; rinse thoroughly.
  3. Place the drip tray in position on the base.
  4. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water and reinsert into the brewer.
  5. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use the brewer without water in the reservoir. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Power on the brewer by pressing the Power button; the indicator light will illuminate.
  2. Lift and close the brewer handle without inserting a K-Cup pod.
  3. Place a large mug (at least 10oz) on the drip tray.
  4. Press the 10oz brew button to run water through the system; repeat 2-3 times.
  5. The brewer is now ready for normal use with K-Cup pods.

CAUTION! Water will be hot during priming; avoid contact with steam or hot water.

Controls and Settings

Front Panel: Power button, Brew button, Cup size selection buttons (6oz, 8oz, 10oz).

Indicator Lights: Power (blue), Add Water (flashing blue), Ready (steady blue).

Operation: Press Power to turn on; wait for Ready light. Select cup size. Lift handle, insert K-Cup, close handle. Place mug on drip tray. Press Brew to start cycle. Auto-off activates after 90 seconds of inactivity.

Brewing Coffee

Follow these steps for optimal brewing.

  1. Ensure brewer is powered on and Ready light is illuminated.
  2. Lift the handle to open the brew chamber.
  3. Insert a K-Cup pod into the chamber; close the handle firmly.
  4. Place a mug on the drip tray (minimum size based on selection).
  5. Press the desired cup size button (6oz, 8oz, or 10oz).
  6. The brewing cycle will begin; coffee will dispense into the mug.
  7. When cycle completes, lift handle to eject the used K-Cup pod.
  8. Discard the pod and close the handle.

Tip: For stronger coffee, select a smaller cup size for the same pod.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Unplug the brewer and allow to cool before cleaning.
  2. Remove and wash the water reservoir, lid, and drip tray in warm, soapy water weekly.
  3. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth; do not use abrasive cleaners.
  4. Clean the brew chamber with a damp cloth to remove coffee residue.
  5. Check the needle in the brew chamber for clogs; clear with a paper clip if needed.

CAUTION! Never immerse the brewer base, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.

Descaling Procedure

Descale every 3-6 months to remove mineral buildup.

  1. Fill the water reservoir with 16oz of white vinegar and 16oz of water.
  2. Place a large mug on the drip tray.
  3. Power on the brewer; lift and close the handle without a K-Cup.
  4. Press the 10oz brew button; repeat until "Add Water" light illuminates.
  5. Discard vinegar solution from the mug after each cycle.
  6. Rinse the reservoir thoroughly and refill with fresh water.
  7. Run multiple brew cycles with fresh water only to rinse the system.
  8. The brewer is ready for use after rinsing is complete.

WARNING! Use only vinegar or Keurig descaling solution; do not use other chemicals.

Troubleshooting
