Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a clean, level, stable surface away from heat sources and water.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash the removable water reservoir and lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
  3. Insert the charcoal water filter into the reservoir (soak filter first per instructions).
  4. Fill the reservoir with fresh cold water and place it back on the brewer.
  5. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use the brewer without water in the reservoir. Ensure the drip tray is in place before brewing.

First-Time Use

Power on the brewer; the display will light up. Prime the system before first brew.

  1. Press the POWER button. The brewer will heat up (approx. 3 minutes).
  2. Lift and close the handle without a K-Cup pod to prime the brewing mechanism.
  3. Place a large mug (at least 10 oz) on the drip tray.
  4. Select the largest brew size (12 oz) and start a brew cycle without a pod to flush the system. Repeat 2-3 times.
  5. The brewer is now ready for use with a K-Cup pod.

CAUTION! Water and brewed coffee will be hot. Keep hands and face away during brewing.

Controls and Settings

Access settings via the touch buttons and LCD display. Front Panel: POWER, STRONG, 4oz, 6oz, 8oz, 10oz, 12oz buttons.

LCD Display: Shows selected brew size, "HEATING", "READY", "ADD WATER", "DESCALE", and auto-off status.

Brew Size Selection: Press the desired size button (4oz to 12oz). Strong Brew: Press STRONG button before brewing for bolder coffee (light will illuminate). Auto-Off Setting: Press and hold the 8oz and 10oz buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to cycle through options (Off, 2hrs).

Brewing Coffee

Brews a single cup using a K-Cup pod.

  1. Ensure the brewer is on and "READY" is displayed. Place a mug on the drip tray.
  2. Lift the handle and insert a K-Cup pod into the pod holder. Close the handle firmly.
  3. Select your desired brew size by pressing the corresponding button (4oz to 12oz).
  4. For stronger coffee, press the STRONG button (light will turn on).
  5. Press the same brew size button again to start brewing. The display will show "BREWING".
  6. Brewing completes automatically. The pod will be punctured and coffee extracted.
  7. Lift the handle to eject the used pod into the storage compartment (if equipped) or dispose of it.

Tip: For best taste, use filtered water and run a water-only brew cycle weekly.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and taste.

  1. Exterior: Wipe with a damp, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
  2. Water Reservoir & Lid: Remove and wash weekly with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Drip Tray & Pod Holder: Remove and wash as needed. The drip tray is dishwasher safe (top rack).
  4. Needle: If clogged, turn off and unplug the brewer. Use a paper clip to gently clear the upper and lower needles.
  5. Charcoal Filter: Replace every 2 months or after 60 tank refills.

CAUTION! Always unplug the brewer before cleaning any internal parts. Never use sharp objects to clean needles.

Descaling

Mineral buildup from water requires periodic descaling. The "DESCALE" light will illuminate when needed.

  1. Purchase Keurig Descaling Solution or use a vinegar solution (as per manual instructions).
  2. Empty the water reservoir. Fill it with 48 oz of descaling solution or a mix of white vinegar and water.
  3. Place a large mug on the drip tray. Power on the brewer.
  4. Lift and close the handle without a pod. Start multiple 12 oz brew cycles until the "ADD WATER" light comes on.
  5. Discard the liquid from the mug after each cycle. Let the solution sit in the brewer for 30 minutes.
  6. Rinse thoroughly by refilling the reservoir with fresh water and running multiple 12 oz water-only brew cycles.
  7. Repeat rinsing until vinegar odor is gone. The descale light will turn off.

WARNING! Descaling solution/vinegar is not for consumption. Ensure thorough rinsing.

Troubleshooting
