Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers.
  2. Wash removable parts: Drip tray and reservoir with warm, soapy water.
  3. Place brewer on stable, dry surface away from heat sources.
  4. Plug power cord into 120V outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure drip tray is properly installed.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewer before first use.

  1. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water.
  2. Place a mug on drip tray.
  3. Press POWER button to turn on (light will blink).
  4. Lift and close handle without inserting K-Cup pod.
  5. Press BREW button to run water through system.
  6. Repeat process 2-3 times to prime.

CAUTION! Water will be hot. Keep hands clear during brew cycle.

Brewing Coffee

Follow these steps for perfect coffee every time.

  1. Press POWER to turn on (light blinks, then solid when ready).
  2. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water.
  3. Place mug on drip tray.
  4. Lift handle, insert K-Cup pod, close handle firmly.
  5. For strong brew, press STRONG button (light turns on).
  6. Press BREW button to start cycle.
  7. Brewing completes automatically.
  8. Remove mug and enjoy.

Tip: Use filtered water for better tasting coffee and to reduce mineral buildup.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Unplug brewer and let cool completely.
  2. Remove and wash drip tray and reservoir with warm, soapy water weekly.
  3. Wipe exterior with damp cloth; do not immerse in water.
  4. Clean needle: Use paper clip to clear clogged entry needle (unplug first).
  5. Descale every 3-6 months depending on water hardness.

WARNING! Never use sharp objects inside brewer except recommended cleaning tool.

Descaling

Mineral buildup affects performance. Use Keurig Descaling Solution or vinegar.

  1. Empty water reservoir.
  2. Fill with descaling solution or equal parts white vinegar and water.
  3. Place large mug on drip tray.
  4. Run brew cycles without K-Cup until reservoir is empty.
  5. Rinse by filling with fresh water and running multiple brew cycles.
  6. Repeat rinse until vinegar smell is gone.

CAUTION! Descaling solution/vinegar is not for consumption. Rinse thoroughly.

Care Instructions

Unplug when not in use for extended periods. Store in dry place.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners. Never immerse brewer in water.
