Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a clean, level, and stable surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash the water reservoir with warm, soapy water; rinse and dry thoroughly.
  3. Place the reservoir onto the back of the brewer, ensuring it is securely seated.
  4. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use the brewer without water. Ensure the brewer is unplugged during cleaning.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water up to the MAX fill line.
  2. Place a large mug on the drip tray.
  3. Turn the brewer ON using the power button.
  4. Without inserting a K-Cup, lift and close the brewer handle to run water through the system. Repeat this process 3-4 times to prime.
  5. The brewer is now ready for normal use with K-Cup pods.

CAUTION! Use only cold, fresh water. Do not use distilled or sparkling water.

Control Panel: POWER, CUP SIZE (6oz/8oz/10oz), BREW STRENGTH, PROGRAM, AUTO OFF.

Programming: Press PROGRAM to set clock, auto brew time, and cup size defaults.

Brew Strength: Select REGULAR or BOLD for stronger coffee. Auto Off: Enable/disable the 2-hour auto shut-off feature. Add Water Indicator: Lights up when the water reservoir is low. Descaling Alert: Flashing light indicates it's time to descale.

Brewing Coffee

Brew a single cup using a K-Cup pod.

  1. Ensure the brewer is ON and the water reservoir is filled.
  2. Lift the brewer handle and insert a K-Cup pod into the holder.
  3. Close the handle firmly.
  4. Place a mug (up to 7 inches tall) on the drip tray.
  5. Select your desired cup size (6oz, 8oz, 10oz) and brew strength.
  6. Press the BREW button. Brewing will begin and complete automatically.
  7. After brewing, lift the handle to eject the used K-Cup pod.

Tip: For best results, use fresh, cold water and store K-Cups in a cool, dry place.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Exterior: Wipe with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  2. Water Reservoir: Remove and wash weekly with warm, soapy water.
  3. Drip Tray & K-Cup Holder: Remove and rinse regularly to prevent coffee residue buildup.
  4. Needle: If clogged, use a paper clip to gently clear the entrance and exit needles (brewer unplugged).

WARNING! Unplug the brewer before cleaning. Never immerse the brewer base in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale every 3-6 months or when the DESCALE light flashes.

  1. Empty and rinse the water reservoir.
  2. Fill the reservoir with 16 oz of white vinegar and 16 oz of fresh water.
  3. Place a large mug on the drip tray.
  4. Run the brewer (without a K-Cup) until half the reservoir is emptied.
  5. Turn the brewer OFF and let it sit for 30 minutes.
  6. Turn the brewer ON and run the remaining solution through.
  7. Rinse the reservoir thoroughly and fill with fresh water.
  8. Run multiple cycles of fresh water through the brewer (without a K-Cup) to rinse out any vinegar residue.

CAUTION! Do not use descaling solutions other than vinegar. Ensure thorough rinsing.
