Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials from brewer and reservoir.
  2. Wash reservoir with warm, soapy water; rinse thoroughly.
  3. Place reservoir onto back of brewer, ensuring it clicks into place.
  4. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water; do not exceed MAX line.
  5. Plug power cord into grounded 120V outlet.

WARNING! Ensure hands are dry when handling electrical components. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first brew.

  1. Press POWER button to turn brewer on; display will light up.
  2. Without a K-Cup pod, place a mug on drip tray.
  3. Lift and close brew handle to puncture position.
  4. Select largest brew size (10 oz) and press BREW button.
  5. Allow full cycle to run; repeat 2-3 times to flush system.
  6. Brewer is now ready for use with K-Cup pods.

CAUTION! Water will be hot. Keep hands and face away from brew head during cycle.

Front Panel: POWER, BREW, STRENGTH, 6oz, 8oz, 10oz buttons.

LCD Display: Shows selected brew size, clock time, "Add Water," "Descale," and "Ready" messages.

Programming Auto On: Press and hold AUTO ON/OFF for 3 seconds, use hour/minute buttons to set time, press AUTO ON/OFF to save.

Brew Strength: Press STRENGTH button to toggle between regular and bold brew.

Brewing Coffee

Brews one cup at a time using K-Cup pods.

  1. Ensure brewer is on and "Ready" light is illuminated.
  2. Lift brew handle and insert K-Cup pod into holder.
  3. Close brew handle firmly until it clicks.
  4. Place mug on drip tray (remove drip tray for tall mugs).
  5. Select desired brew size (6oz, 8oz, 10oz).
  6. Press BREW button; brewing begins immediately.
  7. When cycle completes, lift handle to eject used pod into holder.

Tip: For hotter coffee, run a water-only brew cycle before brewing with pod.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Unplug brewer and allow to cool before cleaning.
  2. Wash reservoir, drip tray, and K-Cup holder in warm, soapy water weekly.
  3. Wipe exterior with damp cloth; do not use abrasive cleaners.
  4. Clean brew needle monthly: use paper clip to clear any coffee grounds.
  5. Descale when indicator light illuminates (see Descaling Procedure).

CAUTION! Never immerse brewer, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.

Descaling Procedure

Required periodically to remove mineral buildup.

  1. Fill reservoir with 48 oz white vinegar or Keurig Descaling Solution.
  2. Place large mug on drip tray.
  3. Press POWER, then press and hold 8oz and 10oz buttons for 3 seconds to enter descale mode.
  4. Press BREW button to start descaling cycle; repeat until "Add Water" appears.
  5. Rinse reservoir thoroughly, refill with fresh water.
  6. Run multiple water-only brew cycles to rinse system.
  7. Descale light will turn off when process is complete.
