Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials from brewer and components.
  2. Wash water reservoir with warm, soapy water; rinse thoroughly.
  3. Place drip tray in position at base of brewer.
  4. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water; slide into back of brewer.
  5. Plug power cord into grounded outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water in reservoir. Keep away from heat sources and moisture.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewer before first brew cycle.

  1. Press POWER button to turn brewer on; lights will illuminate.
  2. Lift and close brew handle without inserting K-Cup.
  3. Place mug on drip tray.
  4. Press 10oz brew button; brewer will run water through system.
  5. Repeat process 2-3 times to flush internal lines.
  6. Brewer is now ready for use with K-Cup pods.

CAUTION! Water will be hot; avoid contact during priming.

Operation: Press POWER to turn on; select brew size after inserting K-Cup. Brewer heats water automatically.

Settings: Auto-off cannot be disabled. Brew temperature is preset. Use descaling solution when indicator light illuminates.

Brewing Coffee

Follow steps for optimal brew.

  1. Press POWER; wait for lights to stop flashing (heating).
  2. Lift brew handle; insert K-Cup pod into chamber.
  3. Close handle firmly.
  4. Place mug on drip tray.
  5. Press desired brew size button (6oz, 8oz, 10oz).
  6. Brewing begins; cycle completes automatically.
  7. Remove mug; discard used K-Cup.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use 6oz setting with dark roast pod.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures performance and longevity.

  1. Unplug brewer before cleaning.
  2. Remove and wash water reservoir weekly with mild detergent.
  3. Wipe exterior with damp cloth; do not immerse in water.
  4. Remove drip tray and wash as needed.
  5. Clean brew chamber with damp cloth; no abrasive cleaners.
  6. Descale every 3-6 months or when indicator light comes on.

CAUTION! Never use vinegar for descaling; use Keurig descaling solution only.

Descaling Procedure

Mineral buildup can affect performance.

  1. Purchase Keurig descaling solution.
  2. Fill reservoir with 16 oz water and entire descaling solution bottle.
  3. Place large mug on drip tray.
  4. Press POWER; lift and close brew handle without K-Cup.
  5. Press 10oz brew button; repeat until reservoir is empty.
  6. Discard liquid in mug.
  7. Rinse reservoir; fill with fresh water.
  8. Brew 10oz cycles until reservoir empty (3-4 times).
  9. Descaling complete; indicator light will turn off.
