Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials from inside and outside brewer.
  2. Wash removable parts (drip tray, water reservoir) with warm soapy water; rinse thoroughly.
  3. Place brewer on flat surface away from heat sources and water splashes.
  4. Fill water reservoir with fresh cold water; do not exceed MAX line.
  5. Plug power cord into 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water; ensure hands are dry when handling plug.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewer before first use to remove manufacturing residues.

  1. Press POWER button to turn on; blue light will illuminate.
  2. Lift and close handle without inserting K-Cup pod.
  3. Place mug on drip tray.
  4. Press BREW button; hot water will flow into mug.
  5. Discard water; repeat process 2-3 times.
  6. Brewer is now ready for use with K-Cup pods.

CAUTION! Water will be hot; avoid contact with steam or hot surfaces.

Front Panel: POWER button (blue light), BREW button. Handle: Lift to open K-Cup chamber.

Brewing Steps:

  1. Press POWER to turn on (blue light on).
  2. Lift handle; insert K-Cup pod.
  3. Close handle firmly.
  4. Place mug on drip tray.
  5. Press BREW button; brewing starts immediately.
  6. Brew stops automatically when selected size is reached.
  7. Brewer shuts off 90 seconds after cycle ends.

Note: To change brew size, press and hold BREW button during brew cycle until desired size is reached.

Brewing Guide

For optimal coffee, tea, or hot cocoa.

  1. Use fresh cold water; refill reservoir as needed.
  2. Choose K-Cup pod; check expiration date.
  3. Insert pod; ensure handle is fully closed.
  4. Select brew size (6, 8, 10 oz) by pressing/holding BREW.
  5. Use appropriate mug size; travel mugs fit with drip tray removed.
  6. For stronger brew, use smaller cup size or brew twice with same pod.

Tip: Preheat mug with hot water for hotter beverage.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures best performance and longevity.

  1. Unplug brewer and let cool before cleaning.
  2. Remove and wash drip tray, water reservoir in warm soapy water weekly.
  3. Wipe exterior with damp cloth; do not immerse in water.
  4. Clean needle (inside K-Cup chamber) with paper clip monthly to prevent clogs.
  5. Descale every 3-6 months or when indicator light comes on.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

Descaling Procedure

Mineral buildup affects performance; descale when light illuminates.

  1. Fill reservoir with 16 oz white vinegar or Keurig descaling solution.
  2. Place large mug on drip tray.
  3. Press POWER; lift and close handle without pod.
  4. Press BREW; half of solution will dispense into mug.
  5. Wait 30 minutes, then press BREW to dispense remaining solution.
  6. Discard vinegar; rinse reservoir thoroughly.
  7. Fill with fresh water; run 3-4 brew cycles (no pod) to rinse.
  8. Descale light will turn off after completion.

WARNING! Vinegar smell is normal; ensure proper rinsing.

Troubleshooting
