Unpacking & Setup

Remove brewer and all accessories from packaging.

  1. Place brewer on a stable, level surface away from edges.
  2. Remove drip tray and water reservoir; rinse reservoir with clean water.
  3. Fill reservoir with fresh, cold water and reinsert into brewer.
  4. Plug power cord into a 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewer before first brew.

  1. Press POWER button to turn on; brewer will heat (approx. 3 minutes).
  2. Place a large mug on drip tray (no K-Cup pod).
  3. Press BREW button to run water through system; discard this water.
  4. Repeat priming once more to ensure optimal performance.
  5. Brewer is now ready for use with a K-Cup pod.

CAUTION! Water will be hot. Avoid contact during priming.

Controls and Indicators

Front Panel: POWER button (on/off), BREW button, Cup Size Selector (6/8/10 oz), Descaling Alert light.

Operation: Press POWER to turn on (green light). Select cup size using selector. Add K-Cup pod, close handle. Press BREW to start cycle. Brewer shuts off automatically 90 seconds after brew.

Indicators: Power light (green = on, off = standby). Descaling light (red = descale needed).

Brewing Coffee

Brews one cup at a time using K-Cup pods.

  1. Ensure brewer is on and heated (green light steady).
  2. Lift handle, insert K-Cup pod into holder, close handle firmly.
  3. Place mug on drip tray (remove tray for travel mugs).
  4. Select cup size (6, 8, or 10 oz) using selector.
  5. Press BREW button; brewing begins immediately.
  6. When cycle ends, lift handle to eject used pod into disposal.

Tip: For stronger coffee, select smaller cup size. Use fresh, cold water for best taste.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Unplug brewer and allow to cool before cleaning.
  2. Wipe exterior with damp cloth; do not immerse in water.
  3. Remove and rinse water reservoir weekly.
  4. Clean drip tray and pod holder regularly; remove coffee residue.
  5. Wipe needle (inside pod holder) with paper clip if clogged.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners or submerge brewer.

Descaling

Descale every 3-6 months or when descaling light illuminates.

  1. Fill reservoir with 48 oz of white vinegar or Keurig descaling solution.
  2. Place large mug on drip tray (no pod).
  3. Press POWER, then BREW repeatedly until reservoir is empty.
  4. Let solution sit in brewer for 30 minutes.
  5. Rinse reservoir, refill with fresh water, and run multiple brew cycles (no pod) to flush.
  6. Descaling light will turn off after process completion.

Troubleshooting
