Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging: Take brewer and accessories out of box.
  2. Place drip tray: Insert drip tray into base.
  3. Fill water reservoir: Lift reservoir, fill with fresh cold water, replace.
  4. Plug into power outlet: Use 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure brewer is on stable surface away from edges.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewer before first brew.

  1. Power on: Press POWER button; lights will flash.
  2. Prime system: Without K-Cup, place mug, press BREW button to run water through.
  3. Select cup size: Use CUP SIZE button to choose 6, 8, or 10 oz.
  4. Insert K-Cup: Lift handle, insert pod, close firmly.
  5. Brew: Press BREW button; cycle completes in under a minute.

CAUTION! Water may be hot. Keep hands clear during brew cycle.

Brewing Coffee

Steps for brewing with K-Cup pods.

  1. Power on: Press POWER; wait for ready light.
  2. Fill reservoir: Ensure adequate water.
  3. Place mug: On drip tray.
  4. Insert K-Cup: Lift handle, insert pod, close.
  5. Select size: Press CUP SIZE until desired oz lights.
  6. Brew: Press BREW; cycle starts immediately.
  7. Remove pod: After brewing, lift handle to eject pod.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use smaller cup size setting.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. External cleaning: Wipe with damp cloth; no harsh chemicals.
  2. Drip tray: Remove and wash with warm soapy water weekly.
  3. Water reservoir: Remove, rinse, dry before refilling.
  4. Needle: Use paper clip to clear coffee grounds if clogged.

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Do not immerse in water.

Descaling Process

Descale every 3-6 months or when light indicates.

  1. Prepare solution: Mix Keurig descaling solution with water.
  2. Fill reservoir: Pour solution into reservoir.
  3. Start descale: Press POWER, then hold BREW and CUP SIZE for 3 seconds.
  4. Run cycles: Brew into large container until reservoir empty.
  5. Rinse: Fill with fresh water, brew multiple times to rinse.
