Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials from brewer and drip tray.
  2. Wash removable parts: Rinse water reservoir and drip tray with warm water.
  3. Fill reservoir: Add fresh water up to the MAX fill line.
  4. Plug into a 120V AC outlet.
  5. Place a mug on the drip tray.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure brewer is unplugged during cleaning.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewer before first brew to remove air from the system.

  1. Power on: Press POWER button; lights will flash during heating.
  2. Wait for ready: Brewer is ready when POWER light stops flashing.
  3. Prime system: Lift and close handle without a K-Cup pod, place a mug, and press BREW to run water through.
  4. Repeat priming: Run 2-3 cycles of water only to clear any residues.
  5. Insert K-Cup: Place a K-Cup pod in holder, close handle, select cup size, and press BREW.

CAUTION! Water will be hot; avoid contact during brewing.

Tip: Clean needle regularly to prevent clogs.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures longevity and performance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth; empty drip tray.
  2. Weekly: Remove and rinse water reservoir; clean K-Cup holder.
  3. Monthly: Descale if light indicates (see Descaling section).
  4. Needle cleaning: Unplug, use paperclip to clear holes in K-Cup holder.

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning; do not immerse in water.

Descaling

Descale every 3-6 months or when DESCALE light flashes.

  1. Purchase Keurig Descaling Solution or white vinegar.
  2. Fill reservoir with descaling solution or equal parts vinegar/water.
  3. Run brew cycles without K-Cup until reservoir is empty.
  4. Rinse by running 2-3 cycles of fresh water only.
  5. Descale light will turn off after process completion.
