Unpacking and Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a stable, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from brewer and components.
  2. Wash the removable drip tray with warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly.
  3. Place brewer on a flat, stable surface away from edges.
  4. Ensure the power cord is unwrapped and ready for connection.
  5. Plug into a standard 120V AC, 60Hz outlet.

WARNING! Do not use outdoors or near water. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.

First-Time Use

Before first brew, run a water-only cycle to clean the internal system.

  1. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water to the MAX line.
  2. Place a mug on the drip tray. Do not insert a K-Cup pod.
  3. Press the POWER/BREW button to start the cycle.
  4. Allow the full cycle to complete and discard the water.
  5. Repeat for a total of 3 cycles to ensure system is clean.

CAUTION! The brewer and water will become hot during operation. Do not touch hot surfaces.

Single button control: POWER/BREW. Indicator light shows power and descaling status.

Operation: Press button once to start brewing. Light will illuminate during cycle. Brewer will automatically shut off.

Descaling Indicator: Light will flash when descaling is required.

Brewing Instructions

For optimal coffee, tea, or hot cocoa.

  1. Lift the handle and insert a K-Cup pod. Close handle firmly.
  2. Place a mug (or travel mug) on the drip tray.
  3. Fill the water reservoir with cold water to desired cup size line.
  4. Press the POWER/BREW button. The light will turn on.
  5. Brewing will complete in under a minute.
  6. After brewing, discard the used K-Cup pod.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use the 6 oz setting or a bold roast pod.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures best performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. Empty and rinse drip tray.
  2. Weekly: Remove the drip tray and K-Cup holder. Wash with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly before replacing.
  3. Monthly: Clean the exit needle by using a paperclip to gently remove any coffee grounds (unplug first).

CAUTION! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Do not immerse in water.

Descaling

Mineral buildup from water requires periodic descaling.

  1. When descale light flashes, prepare Keurig descaling solution or white vinegar mixture.
  2. Fill reservoir with descaling solution.
  3. Place a large mug on the drip tray.
  4. Press brew button (without a K-Cup) and run multiple cycles until reservoir is empty.
  5. Rinse thoroughly by running multiple cycles with fresh water.

WARNING! Follow descaling instructions precisely. Improper descaling can damage the brewer.

Travel and Storage

Designed for portability.

  1. Ensure brewer is completely cool, dry, and empty.
  2. Wrap the power cord securely around the base.
  3. Store in a carrying case or protective bag if available.
  4. When traveling, pack in luggage with cushioning to prevent damage.

Tip: Use bottled water when traveling to areas with hard water to reduce descaling needs.
