Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface near power outlet.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers from exterior and water reservoir.
  2. Fill water reservoir with fresh cold water and reattach to brewer.
  3. Plug power cord into grounded 120V AC outlet.
  4. Turn power switch to ON position; display will illuminate.
  5. Prime the brewing system by running a water-only brew cycle (without a K-Cup).

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure drip tray is in place before brewing.

First-Time Use

After installation, follow these steps for initial setup.

  1. Prime the system: Place a mug, press brew without inserting K-Cup to flush system.
  2. Set clock: Use MENU button to access time settings; adjust with +/- buttons.
  3. Set auto on/off: Program start time and auto shut-off (2 hours default).
  4. Select preferred brew size and strength using control buttons.

CAUTION! First brew may be hotter than subsequent brews. Handle mug with care.

Control Panel: POWER, BREW, MENU, + (Up), - (Down), STRENGTH, SIZE.

Display Icons: Power, Ready, Brewing, Add Water, Descaling Alert, Clock.

Settings Menu: Clock set, Auto On time, Auto Off delay, Brew temperature (default 192°F), Language (English default), Factory reset.

Brew Strength: Regular (standard extraction) or Bold (longer brew time for stronger coffee).

Brewing Coffee

Brew using K-Cup pods.

  1. Ensure brewer is on and READY light is illuminated.
  2. Lift handle, insert K-Cup, close handle firmly.
  3. Place mug on drip tray.
  4. Select brew size (6/8/10 oz) using SIZE button.
  5. Select strength (Regular/Bold) using STRENGTH button.
  6. Press BREW button; brewing begins immediately.
  7. When brewing completes, lift handle to eject used K-Cup.

Tip: Preheat mug with hot water for hotter coffee. Use filtered water for better taste.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth; empty drip tray and K-Cup holder.
  2. Weekly: Remove and rinse water reservoir; clean needle with paperclip to prevent clogs.
  3. Monthly: Run vinegar solution or Keurig cleaning kit through brew cycle (without K-Cup).
  4. As needed: Descale when ADD WATER/Descale light flashes (see Descaling Procedure).

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Do not immerse brewer in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale when mineral buildup occurs (approx. every 3-6 months).

  1. Fill reservoir with descaling solution or white vinegar/water mix (50/50).
  2. Place large mug or bowl on drip tray.
  3. Press MENU, navigate to Descaling mode, press BREW to start.
  4. Brew until reservoir is empty, then refill with fresh water.
  5. Run multiple water-only brew cycles to rinse system.
  6. Reset descale alert via MENU settings.

WARNING! Use only Keurig descaling solution or vinegar. Rinse thoroughly.
