Unpacking & Setup

Remove all packaging materials. Place brewer on a stable, level surface away from heat sources and water splashes.

  1. Remove water reservoir: Lift straight up and away from brewer.
  2. Rinse reservoir: Wash with mild soap and water, then rinse thoroughly.
  3. Install water filter: Soak filter in water for 5 minutes, then insert into reservoir holder.
  4. Fill reservoir: Add fresh cold water up to MAX fill line.
  5. Plug into 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure brewer is on a flat, stable surface to prevent tipping.

First-Time Use

Power on brewer; follow priming steps.

  1. Prime the system: Place a large mug on drip tray, do not insert K-Cup®.
  2. Press and hold 10 oz brew button until reservoir is empty and brewing stops.
  3. Refill reservoir and repeat priming process two more times.
  4. Brew a test cup: Insert a K-Cup®, select brew size, press BREW.

CAUTION! Water and brewed beverage will be hot. Keep hands and face away from outlet during brewing.

Front Panel: POWER button, BREW button, Brew Size Selector button, LCD display.

LCD Indicators: Power On, Brew Size (6, 8, 10), Add Water, Descaling Alert, Ready to Brew.

Operation: Press POWER to turn on. Select brew size with Brew Size Selector. Insert K-Cup®, close handle, press BREW. Auto-off activates after 90 seconds of no use.

Brewing Instructions

For use with genuine K-Cup® pods.

  1. Ensure brewer is on and READY indicator is lit.
  2. Lift handle, insert K-Cup® pod into holder, close handle firmly.
  3. Place mug on drip tray.
  4. Select desired brew size (6, 8, or 10 oz).
  5. Press BREW button. Brewing begins; cycle completes automatically.
  6. After brewing, lift handle to eject used pod into disposal bin.

Tip: For stronger coffee, select a smaller brew size. Preheat mug with hot water for hotter beverage.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and taste.

  1. Exterior: Wipe with damp cloth. Do not immerse in water.
  2. Drip tray and reservoir: Remove and wash with warm, soapy water weekly.
  3. K-Cup® holder: Remove and rinse under warm water; dry before replacing.
  4. Needle: Use paper clip to clear any coffee grounds from exit needle monthly.

CAUTION! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

Descaling Procedure

Descaling alert illuminates when mineral buildup requires removal.

  1. Purchase Keurig Descaling Solution or use white vinegar.
  2. Fill reservoir with 16 oz descaling solution and 16 oz water.
  3. Place large mug on drip tray. Do not insert K-Cup®.
  4. Press and hold 10 oz and 6 oz buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter descale mode.
  5. Press BREW to start cycle. Repeat until ADD WATER light comes on.
  6. Rinse: Fill reservoir with fresh water, brew multiple cycles until reservoir empty.
  7. Repeat rinse process 2-3 times to remove any solution/vinegar taste.

WARNING! Descaling solution/vinegar is not for consumption. Ensure thorough rinsing.

Water Filter

Charcoal filter improves water taste and reduces scale. Replace every 2 months or 60 tank refills.

  1. Remove old filter from reservoir holder.
  2. Soak new filter in water for 5 minutes.
  3. Rinse under cool water for 60 seconds.
  4. Insert into reservoir holder; align notch.
  5. Reinstall reservoir; prime system by brewing one tank of water without K-Cup®.

Troubleshooting
