Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a clean, stable, level surface near a power outlet.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash the removable water reservoir and drip tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  3. Place the drip tray in position on the base.
  4. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water and insert it into the back of the brewer.
  5. Plug the power cord into a 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use the brewer without water in the reservoir. Ensure the brewer is placed away from heat sources and edges of countertops.

First-Time Setup

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Ensure the brewer is off and the water reservoir is full.
  2. Place a large mug (at least 10 oz) on the drip tray.
  3. Lift and lower the brew handle without inserting a K-Cup pod.
  4. Press the POWER button. The brewer will heat up (approx. 3 minutes).
  5. Press the BREW button to run water through the system. Discard this water.
  6. Repeat the brewing cycle once more with just water. Your brewer is now ready for use.

CAUTION! The exterior surfaces may become hot during use. Handle with care.

Controls and Settings

Control Panel: POWER button, BREW button, BREW SIZE button, ADD WATER indicator, DESCALING indicator.

Operation: Press POWER to turn on. Select brew size with BREW SIZE button. Lift handle, insert K-Cup, close handle, place mug, press BREW.

Settings: Auto-off is pre-set to 90 seconds and cannot be changed. The descale indicator light will illuminate when mineral buildup requires cleaning.

Brewing Coffee

Brews one cup at a time using Keurig K-Cup pods.

  1. Press POWER. Wait for the ready light.
  2. Lift the brew handle fully.
  3. Insert a K-Cup pod into the pod holder.
  4. Close the brew handle firmly.
  5. Place a mug on the drip tray.
  6. Select your desired brew size (6, 8, or 10 oz).
  7. Press the BREW button. Brewing will complete in under a minute.
  8. After brewing, lift the handle to eject the used pod into the storage basket.

Tip: For best results, use fresh, cold water and run a cleansing brew if the brewer hasn't been used for several days.

Maintenance & Descaling

Regular descaling is essential for performance and longevity.

  1. When to Descale: The DESCALING light will illuminate, or every 3-6 months based on water hardness.
  2. Purchase Keurig Descaling Solution or a vinegar solution (1 part white vinegar to 3 parts water).
  3. Fill the empty reservoir with the descaling solution.
  4. Place a large mug. Run a brew cycle without a K-Cup. Pause halfway and let solution sit in brewer for 30 minutes.
  5. Complete the brew cycle. Discard the solution.
  6. Rinse the reservoir thoroughly. Fill with fresh water.
  7. Run multiple brew cycles with just water (no K-Cup) until the vinegar odor is gone.

WARNING! Never use descaling solutions other than those recommended by Keurig. Unplug the brewer before any maintenance not involving brewing.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug and allow to cool before cleaning.

CAUTION! Do not use steel wool or scouring pads. Never submerge the brewer base, cord, or plug in water.

Troubleshooting
