Unboxing & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers.
  2. Wash removable parts: Reservoir and drip tray with warm, soapy water.
  3. Place brewer on stable, level counter away from edges.
  4. Fill water reservoir with fresh cold water and insert into brewer.
  5. Plug into 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Ensure hands are dry when handling plug. Keep away from heat sources and water splashes.

First-Time Use

Prime the system before first brew.

  1. Power on brewer: Press POWER button; lights will illuminate.
  2. Prime the system: Without a K-Cup pod, place a mug, press 12oz brew button to run water through.
  3. Repeat priming: Run 2-3 full reservoirs of water to clear any manufacturing residues.
  4. Insert K-Cup: Lift handle, place pod in holder, close firmly.
  5. Select brew size: Choose desired size (4oz to 12oz) and press brew.

CAUTION! Do not use without water. First few brews may have slight odor; this is normal.

Brew Size Selection: Press desired size button; brewer will start automatically. Strong Brew: Press STRONG before brewing for bolder flavor. Hot Water: Press HOT WATER for instant hot water without pod. Temperature Control: Press and hold 8oz and 10oz buttons simultaneously to cycle through temperature settings (192°F default). Auto-Off: Enabled by default after 2 hours; press POWER to wake.

Brewing Coffee

Follow steps for optimal brewing.

  1. Ensure reservoir is filled with fresh cold water.
  2. Power on brewer; wait for ready light.
  3. Lift handle, insert K-Cup pod, close firmly.
  4. Place mug on drip tray.
  5. Select brew size (4oz to 12oz).
  6. Press STRONG for bolder coffee (optional).
  7. Brewing begins automatically; completes in under 1 minute.
  8. Remove mug; discard used pod.

Tip: Preheat mug with hot water for hotter coffee.

Customizing Your Brew

Adjust settings to personal preference.

  1. Strong Brew: Press STRONG button before brewing; light will stay on.
  2. Brew Temperature: Press and hold 8oz and 10oz buttons to cycle through 192°F, 196°F, 200°F.
  3. Hot Water on Demand: Press HOT WATER without pod; dispenses 4oz to 12oz.
  4. Auto-Off Disable: Press and hold POWER for 3 seconds to disable/enable.

Note: Strong brew uses slower flow rate for increased extraction.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth; empty drip tray and pod holder.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash reservoir, drip tray, pod holder in warm, soapy water.
  3. Monthly: Clean needle: Unplug, use paperclip to clear any clogs in top and bottom needles.
  4. As needed: Descale when ADD WATER light flashes red (see Descaling section).

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Never immerse brewer in water.

Descaling Process

Descale every 3-6 months or when ADD WATER light flashes red.

  1. Fill reservoir with 16oz white vinegar and 16oz water.
  2. Place large mug (at least 20oz) on drip tray.
  3. Press and hold 8oz and 12oz buttons for 3 seconds to enter descale mode.
  4. Press HOT WATER button to start descaling cycle.
  5. Repeat until ADD WATER light turns off.
  6. Rinse: Fill reservoir with fresh water, run multiple brew cycles without pod.
  7. Exit descale mode: Press POWER to turn off.

WARNING! Use only Keurig descaling solution or white vinegar. Rinse thoroughly.
