Initial Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers.
  2. Wash removable parts: Reservoir and drip tray with warm, soapy water.
  3. Fill reservoir with fresh water and place back on brewer.
  4. Plug into 120V AC outlet.
  5. Prime the brewer: Power on, lift and close handle without pod, select largest brew size to run water through system.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure brewer is on a heat-resistant surface away from edges.

Brewing Your First Cup

Power on brewer; follow steps for brewing.

  1. Lift handle and insert K-Cup pod. Close handle firmly.
  2. Place mug on drip tray.
  3. Select brew size: Press 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 oz button.
  4. Adjust strength (optional): Press STRENGTH button for bolder coffee.
  5. Press BREW button to start. Brewing begins immediately with Smart Start.
  6. Remove mug when brewing completes.

CAUTION! Hot surfaces! Avoid contact with heated parts during and after brewing.

Descaling Process

  1. Fill reservoir with descaling solution or white vinegar/water mix.
  2. Place large mug on drip tray.
  3. Enter descale mode: Hold 10 oz and 12 oz buttons for 3 seconds.
  4. Follow on-screen prompts to brew solution through system.
  5. Rinse by brewing multiple reservoirs of fresh water.
  6. Reset descale indicator: Hold 8 oz button for 3 seconds.
