Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a clean, level, stable surface away from edges.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash the water reservoir and lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  3. Fill the reservoir with fresh, cold water and place it securely on the back of the brewer.
  4. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.
  5. Ensure the drip tray is in place and the K-Cup holder is empty and closed.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure the brewer is on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from sinks and hot surfaces.

First-Time Use

Power on the brewer; the display will illuminate. Follow priming steps.

  1. Press the POWER button. The display will show "ADD WATER" if the reservoir is empty.
  2. Prime the brewer: Without a K-Cup pod, place a large mug on the drip tray, close the handle, and select the 12 oz. brew size. Repeat this process 3 times to fill the internal lines.
  3. Set the Clock: Press the MENU button, use the +/- buttons to set the time, then press SELECT.
  4. Set Auto-Off: Press MENU, navigate to AUTO OFF, and select 2 hrs (default), 4 hrs, or OFF.
  5. Your brewer is now ready for its first brew.

CAUTION! The first few brews may include small carbon particles from manufacturing—this is normal. Discard these initial brews.

Menu Settings: Press MENU to access:
CLOCK: Set time.
AUTO OFF: Set to 2H, 4H, or OFF.
HOT WATER TEMP: Adjust default temperature (default 192°F).
BREW TEMP: Adjust coffee brewing temperature.
FACTORY RESET: Restore original settings.

Brewing Coffee

Brews single servings using K-Cup pods.

  1. Press POWER to turn the brewer on. Ensure "READY" is displayed.
  2. Lift the handle and insert any K-Cup pod. Close the handle firmly.
  3. Place a mug (minimum 4 oz. capacity) on the drip tray.
  4. Select your desired brew size (4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 oz.).
  5. For a stronger cup, press the STRONG button before brewing (icon will illuminate).
  6. Brewing begins automatically. The progress bar will fill on the display.
  7. When brewing is complete, the pod is automatically ejected into the used pod drawer.

Tip: For best results, use filtered water and rinse the reservoir weekly.

Hot Water on Demand

Dispenses hot water for tea, cocoa, oatmeal, etc.

  1. Ensure brewer is on and "READY" is displayed.
  2. Place a mug on the drip tray.
  3. Press the HOT WATER button. The icon will illuminate.
  4. Select a brew size (6, 8, 10, or 12 oz.). Brewing begins immediately.
  5. The default temperature is 192°F. Adjust via MENU > HOT WATER TEMP.

WARNING! Dispensed water is very hot. Keep hands and face away. Do not use without a mug in place.

Maintenance & Descaling

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity.

Daily: Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. Empty used pod drawer.

Weekly: Remove and wash the water reservoir and lid. Rinse the drip tray.

Descaling: Required when the "DESCALE" alert appears (approx. every 3-6 months).

  1. Fill reservoir with 16 oz. of white vinegar and 64 oz. of water.
  2. Place a large mug on the drip tray. Press HOT WATER, select 12 oz., and start. Repeat until "ADD WATER" appears.
  3. Discard vinegar water. Rinse reservoir thoroughly.
  4. Fill with fresh water and run multiple 12 oz. HOT WATER cycles to rinse the system.
  5. The "DESCALE" alert will turn off after 3 rinse cycles.

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning exterior. Never immerse brewer in water. Use only Keurig descaling solution or white vinegar.
