Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a clean, stable, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers from brewer and water reservoir.
  2. Wash the removable water reservoir with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  3. Place the drip tray in position. Ensure the water reservoir is correctly seated.
  4. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use the brewer without water. Ensure the water reservoir is properly installed before powering on.

First-Time Setup

Power on the brewer; the display will illuminate. Follow initial setup steps.

  1. Prime the brewer: Fill the water reservoir, place a large mug, and run a water-only brew cycle (without a pod) for each brew size.
  2. Connect to Wi-Fi: Press the SMART button and follow on-screen prompts to connect to your home network via the Keurig app.
  3. Set preferences: Use the control panel or app to set default brew size, temperature, and auto-off timing.
  4. Brew your first cup: Insert a K-Cup pod, select your brew size, and press BREW.

CAUTION! The exterior and brewed liquid become hot during use. Handle with care.

Connecting to SMART Features

Requires Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz), Keurig app (iOS/Android), and a Keurig account.

  1. Ensure brewer is powered on and in READY mode.
  2. Press and hold the SMART button for 3 seconds until the display shows connection mode.
  3. Open the Keurig app, follow in-app instructions to connect brewer to your network.
  4. Once connected, use the app to brew remotely, create schedules, and manage settings.

Tip: Keep brewer within range of your Wi-Fi router for stable connection.

Brewing Coffee

Supports all K-Cup pod varieties.

  1. Lift and lower the handle to open the K-Cup pod holder.
  2. Insert a K-Cup pod. Close the handle firmly.
  3. Place a mug (min. 4 oz.) on the drip tray.
  4. Select brew size (4, 6, 8, 10, 12 oz.). For stronger coffee, press STRONG first.
  5. Press the flashing brew button to start. The display will show HEATING then BREWING.
  6. For iced coffee, press ICED, select size, then brew over a cup of ice.
  7. For hot water only, press HOT WATER, select size.
  8. After brewing, discard the used pod.

WARNING! Do not touch the needle or pierce pods with foreign objects. Keep hands clear during brew cycle.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and taste.

Daily: Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. Empty and rinse the drip tray and water reservoir.

Weekly: Clean the K-Cup pod holder and needle. Use a paperclip to clear any clogs (unplug first).

Descaling: Perform when ADD WATER or DESCALING light appears. Use Keurig Descaling Solution or approved vinegar solution. Follow descaling instructions in manual or app.

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Never immerse brewer in water. Use only approved cleaning solutions.
