Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a clean, stable, level surface near a power outlet.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers from the brewer and water reservoir.
  2. Wash the water reservoir and lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  3. Place the drip tray in position. Insert the water reservoir into the back of the brewer until it clicks into place.
  4. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use the brewer without water. Ensure the water reservoir is properly seated before powering on.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water up to the MAX fill line.
  2. Place a large mug (at least 12 oz) on the drip tray. Do not insert a K-Cup pod.
  3. Press the POWER button. The brewer will heat up (approx. 3 minutes).
  4. Lift and close the handle to run water through the system. Press the 12 oz brew button. Repeat this process 3 times without a pod.
  5. The brewer is now ready for use with K-Cup pods.

CAUTION! The brew needle is sharp. Handle the K-Cup pod holder with care.

Control Panel: POWER button, Brew Button, Strength Button, Cup Size Button.

Indicator Lights: Power (blue), Descaling (red/amber), Strength selection, Cup size selection.

Brew Strength: Press STRENGTH button to cycle. Strong: Slower flow for bolder coffee. Iced: Brews stronger over ice. Hot: Standard brew temperature.

Cup Size: Press CUP SIZE button to select volume (4, 6, 8, 10, 12 oz). The selected size will flash.

Brewing Coffee

Follow these steps for a perfect cup every time.

  1. Press POWER. Wait for blue light to stop flashing (heating complete).
  2. Fill water reservoir with cold water.
  3. Place a mug on the drip tray.
  4. Lift the handle and insert a K-Cup pod. Close the handle firmly.
  5. Select brew strength (optional) and cup size.
  6. Press the flashing BREW button. Brewing will begin.
  7. When brewing is complete, lift the handle to eject the used pod.

Tip: For best results, use fresh, cold water and brew immediately after heating.

Customizing Your Brew

Adjust settings to match your preference.

  1. Strong Brew: Select STRONG setting for a more intense flavor.
  2. Iced Coffee: Select ICED setting. Fill your cup with ice first, then brew directly over ice.
  3. Cup Size: Choose smaller sizes (4-6 oz) for a more concentrated cup, larger sizes (10-12 oz) for a milder cup.
  4. Hot Water: Run a brew cycle without a K-Cup pod to dispense hot water for tea or cocoa.

Note: Not all settings are available for all cup sizes.

Care & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and taste.

Daily: Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. Empty and rinse the drip tray and pod holder.

Weekly: Remove and wash the water reservoir and lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.

Monthly: Clean the needle that pierces the K-Cup pod. Unplug brewer, lift handle, and use a paperclip to gently clear any coffee grounds from the exit needle.

CAUTION! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Never immerse brewer, cord, or plug in water.

Descaling

Mineral buildup from water affects performance. The DESCALE light will illuminate when needed.

  1. Purchase Keurig Descaling Solution or approved white vinegar.
  2. Fill the water reservoir with 16 oz of descaling solution or vinegar and 16 oz of water.
  3. Place a large mug on the drip tray. Run a 12 oz brew cycle (without a pod). Pause for 30 minutes.
  4. Discard the liquid in the mug. Refill the reservoir with fresh water.
  5. Run multiple 12 oz brew cycles (without a pod) until the reservoir is empty to rinse the system.
  6. The descale light will turn off after the process is complete.

WARNING! Follow descaling instructions precisely. Improper rinsing can affect coffee taste.

Troubleshooting
