Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from brewer and components.
  2. Wash removable parts: Wash water reservoir and drip tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
  3. Fill water reservoir: Remove reservoir, fill with fresh cold water, and reattach to brewer.
  4. Plug into 120V AC power outlet.

WARNING! Do not use hot water in reservoir. Ensure brewer is unplugged during cleaning.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewer before first use to ensure optimal performance.

  1. Plug in brewer: Power button light will blink.
  2. Prime the system: Place a large mug on drip tray. Lift and close handle without inserting a K-Cup pod. Press power button, then press brew button. Brewer will run water through system. Discard water.
  3. Repeat priming: Perform priming process 2-3 times until water runs clear.
  4. Brew first cup: Insert K-Cup pod, select brew size, and press brew button.

CAUTION! Water will be hot during priming. Keep hands clear of brew area.

Controls and Settings

Front panel includes Power button, Brew Size buttons (6, 8, 10, 12 oz), and Brew button.

Operation: Press Power button to turn on (light solid). Select brew size (corresponding light illuminates). Press Brew button to start brewing.

Settings: Auto-off cannot be disabled. Brew temperature is preset. No programmable settings available.

Brewing Coffee

Brews single servings using K-Cup pods.

  1. Turn on brewer: Press Power button.
  2. Add water: Ensure reservoir is filled.
  3. Insert K-Cup: Lift handle, place K-Cup pod in holder, close handle firmly.
  4. Place mug: Position mug on drip tray.
  5. Select size: Press desired brew size button (6, 8, 10, or 12 oz).
  6. Start brew: Press Brew button. Brewing completes automatically.
  7. Remove pod: Lift handle after brewing to eject used pod.

Tip: For stronger coffee, select smaller brew size. Use fresh cold water for best taste.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and taste.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash water reservoir and drip tray in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Monthly: Clean needle that pierces K-Cup pod using paper clip (unplug brewer first).
  4. As needed: Wipe brew chamber with damp cloth.

CAUTION! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Do not immerse brewer in water.

Descaling

Descale every 3-6 months to remove mineral buildup.

  1. Prepare solution: Mix Keurig Descaling Solution with water or use vinegar solution.
  2. Fill reservoir: Pour solution into empty reservoir.
  3. Start descaling: Place large mug on drip tray. Press Power, then Brew without K-Cup pod. Repeat until reservoir is empty.
  4. Rinse: Fill reservoir with fresh water and brew multiple cycles until taste is gone.

WARNING! Follow descaling instructions carefully. Rinse thoroughly to avoid vinegar taste.
