Unpacking & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on a clean, stable, and level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash the removable water reservoir and drip tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
  3. Place the drip tray in position. Insert the water reservoir into the back of the brewer.
  4. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use the brewer without water in the reservoir. Ensure the brewer is on a heat-resistant surface away from edges.

First Use & Priming

Before first brew, you must prime the system to remove air from the water lines.

  1. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water to the MAX fill line.
  2. Lift and lower the brew handle without a K-Cup pod to open and close the brewing chamber.
  3. Place a large mug (at least 12oz) on the drip tray.
  4. Press the POWER button. The button will illuminate.
  5. Press the 12oz brew button. The brewer will run water through the system without a pod. Discard this water.
  6. Repeat the priming process (step 5) two more times. Your brewer is now ready for use.

CAUTION! The exterior surfaces may become hot during use. Do not touch hot surfaces.

Controls and Operation

Front Panel: POWER button, 8oz/10oz/12oz brew size buttons, Descaling indicator light.

Operation: Press POWER to turn on (light illuminates). Select desired brew size. The brewer will heat, then begin brewing automatically when you press the size button. The POWER light will flash during heating and brewing.

Brew Size Guide: 8oz for a strong cup, 10oz for a standard mug, 12oz for a large mug or travel cup.

Energy Saver: The brewer will automatically power off 90 seconds after the last brew cycle is complete. Press POWER to turn it back on.

Brewing Your Beverage

Follow these steps for optimal brewing.

  1. Ensure the brewer is on and the water reservoir is filled.
  2. Lift the brew handle and insert a Keurig K-Cup pod. Close the handle firmly.
  3. Place your mug on the drip tray.
  4. Select your desired brew size (8oz, 10oz, 12oz) by pressing the corresponding button.
  5. The brew cycle will begin. The POWER light will flash during brewing.
  6. When the cycle is complete, lift the handle to eject the used pod into the storage compartment.

Tip: For best results, use filtered water and run a cleansing brew (without a pod) weekly.

Care & Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures great-tasting coffee and extends brewer life.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. Empty and rinse the drip tray and pod holder.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash the water reservoir and drip tray in warm, soapy water. Run a cleansing brew (brew a cycle without a pod).
  3. Monthly: Clean the exit needle (inside the brew chamber) with a paperclip to prevent clogs. Unplug the brewer first.

CAUTION! Never immerse the brewer base, cord, or plug in water or other liquids. Unplug before cleaning.

Descaling Procedure

The DESCALE light will illuminate when mineral buildup requires removal. Use Keurig Descaling Solution or white vinegar.

  1. Empty the water reservoir. Fill it with 16 oz of descaling solution or a mixture of 16 oz white vinegar and 16 oz water.
  2. Place a large mug on the drip tray. Press POWER.
  3. Lift and close the brew handle without a pod. Press the 12oz brew button. Dispense half the solution into the mug and discard. Wait 30 minutes.
  4. Press the 12oz button again to dispense the remaining solution. Discard.
  5. Rinse the reservoir thoroughly. Fill with fresh water. Run multiple 12oz brew cycles (without a pod) until the vinegar odor is gone.
  6. The DESCALE light will turn off after the process is complete.

Troubleshooting
