Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials from brewer and water reservoir.
  2. Wash removable parts: Wash water reservoir and drip tray with warm, soapy water.
  3. Fill water reservoir: Fill with fresh cold water and place back on brewer.
  4. Plug into 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure brewer is on a heat-resistant surface away from edges.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewer before first use.

  1. Power on: Press POWER button; lights will illuminate.
  2. Prime brewing system: Place a mug on drip tray, lift and close handle without a K-Cup pod, select 10 oz brew size, press BREW button to run water through system.
  3. Repeat priming: Run 2-3 full reservoirs of water to flush system.
  4. Insert K-Cup: Lift handle, place K-Cup pod in holder, close handle firmly.
  5. Select brew size: Choose 6, 8, or 10 oz using multi-strength button.
  6. Brew: Press BREW button to start cycle.

CAUTION! Water will be hot. Keep hands clear during brew cycle.

Brewing Coffee

Steps for brewing single serve coffee.

  1. Power on brewer; wait for ready light.
  2. Fill water reservoir if needed.
  3. Place mug on drip tray.
  4. Lift handle, insert K-Cup pod, close handle firmly.
  5. Select brew size (6, 8, or 10 oz).
  6. Press BREW button; brewing completes in under 2 minutes.
  7. Remove mug; brewer auto-off after 90 seconds.

Tip: For stronger coffee, select smaller brew size. Use fresh cold water for best taste.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash drip tray and water reservoir with warm, soapy water.
  3. Monthly: Clean needle that pierces K-Cup with paperclip (unplug first).
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator light flashes.

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Do not immerse brewer in water.

Descaling

Descale every 3-6 months or when indicator flashes.

  1. Prepare solution: Mix Keurig descaling solution or white vinegar with equal parts water.
  2. Fill reservoir with solution.
  3. Enter descale mode: Press and hold 6 oz and 10 oz buttons for 3 seconds until descale light is solid.
  4. Brew: Place large mug or container on drip tray, press BREW to dispense solution.
  5. Rinse: Refill reservoir with fresh water, brew multiple times until reservoir empty to rinse.
  6. Exit mode: Press POWER to turn off; descale light will turn off.

WARNING! Use only Keurig descaling solution or vinegar. Rinse thoroughly.
