Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a clean, stable, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash the removable water reservoir with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  3. Place the drip tray in position.
  4. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water and reattach it to the brewer.
  5. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Ensure the brewer is placed away from heat sources, sinks, and edges of countertops. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewer before first use to ensure optimal performance.

  1. Press the POWER button to turn the brewer on. The button will illuminate.
  2. Lift and close the brew handle without inserting a K-Cup pod.
  3. Place a large mug (at least 12oz) on the drip tray.
  4. Select the 12oz brew size. The brewer will run water through the system to prime it. Discard this water.
  5. The brewer is now ready for use. The "Add Water" indicator may light if the reservoir is low.

CAUTION! Do not use the brewer without priming. The first brew may be hot; handle mug with care.

Controls and Settings

Control Panel: POWER button, 8oz/10oz/12oz brew size buttons, ICED BREW button.

Operation: Press POWER to turn on. Select brew size (8oz, 10oz, 12oz). For iced drinks, press ICED BREW button (light will illuminate) before selecting size. Lift handle, insert K-Cup, close handle, place cup, and press start.

Settings: Energy Saver mode activates automatically 2 minutes after last brew. Descaling reminder light will illuminate when maintenance is required.

Brewing Hot Coffee

For optimal hot coffee flavor.

  1. Press POWER to turn brewer on.
  2. Lift the brew handle and insert a K-Cup pod. Close the handle firmly.
  3. Place a mug on the drip tray.
  4. Select your desired brew size (8oz, 10oz, or 12oz). The brew will begin automatically.
  5. When brewing is complete, lift the handle to eject the used pod into the storage drawer.

Tip: Preheat your mug by running a water-only brew cycle into it before brewing coffee.

Brewing Iced Coffee

Uses a stronger, slower brew over ice.

  1. Fill a glass or tumbler with ice to the top.
  2. Press POWER to turn brewer on.
  3. Press the ICED BREW button. The indicator will light up.
  4. Lift handle, insert a K-Cup pod, and close handle.
  5. Place the ice-filled glass on the drip tray.
  6. Select your brew size (recommended 8oz or 10oz for best strength). Brewing will begin.
  7. The brewer will dispense a concentrated brew over the ice, chilling and diluting it to perfection.

WARNING! Do not use the 12oz setting for iced brew with a standard glass, as it may overflow. Ensure your glass can hold the liquid plus melting ice.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures performance and longevity.

Daily: Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. Empty and rinse the drip tray and pod holder.

Weekly: Remove and wash the water reservoir with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.

Descaling: Perform every 3-6 months or when the descale indicator lights. Use Keurig Descaling Solution or a vinegar-water mixture as per instructions in the manual.

CAUTION! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Never immerse the brewer base, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
