Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside brewer.
  2. Wash removable parts: Reservoir, drip tray, and K-Cup holder with warm soapy water.
  3. Place drip tray in position (adjust height if needed for travel mug).
  4. Fill water reservoir with fresh cold water and insert into brewer.
  5. Plug power cord into 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure brewer is on stable, heat-resistant surface away from edges.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Press POWER button to turn on brewer (lights will illuminate).
  2. Lift and close brew handle without inserting K-Cup pod.
  3. Place mug on drip tray.
  4. Select largest cup size (12 oz) and press brew button.
  5. Repeat process 3 times with fresh water to flush system.
  6. Brewer is now ready for first K-Cup pod.

CAUTION! Water and brewed beverage will be hot. Keep hands clear during brew cycle.

Controls and Settings

Control Panel: POWER, 6/8/10/12 oz buttons, STRONG button, Auto-off indicator, Descaling indicator.

Operation: Press POWER to turn on (heating begins). Select brew size. Press STRONG for bolder coffee (optional). Lift handle, insert K-Cup, close handle, place mug, press brew button.

Settings: Auto-off timing (2 hr default, can be changed to 5 min-2 hr via button sequence). Descaling reminder (flashing light when needed). Brew temperature control (factory preset).

Brewing Coffee

For optimal results with K-Cup pods.

  1. Ensure brewer is on and heated (ready light solid).
  2. Lift brew handle fully.
  3. Insert K-Cup pod (any variety).
  4. Close handle firmly.
  5. Place mug (up to 7.2" tall) on drip tray.
  6. Select desired brew size (6, 8, 10, or 12 oz).
  7. Press STRONG button if desired (light will illuminate).
  8. Press brew button; brewing begins immediately.
  9. Brew cycle completes automatically.

Tip: For stronger coffee, use STRONG button or smaller brew size with same pod.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth; empty drip tray and used pod holder.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash water reservoir, drip tray, and K-Cup holder in warm soapy water.
  3. Monthly: Clean needle that punctures K-Cup (use paper clip carefully).
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator lights or every 3-6 months.

WARNING! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Never immerse brewer in water.

Descaling Procedure

Required when descale indicator flashes or flow slows.

  1. Fill reservoir with 48 oz white vinegar or Keurig descaling solution.
  2. Place large mug (at least 20 oz) on drip tray.
  3. Turn brewer on, lift and close handle (no pod).
  4. Press 12 oz and STRONG buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter descale mode.
  5. Press brew button; solution will dispense in pulses.
  6. When reservoir is empty, refill with fresh water.
  7. Repeat brewing with fresh water 5 times to rinse.
  8. Descale mode exits automatically after final rinse.

CAUTION! Use only approved descaling solutions. Ensure thorough rinsing.
