Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside brewer.
  2. Wash removable parts: Reservoir and drip tray with warm, soapy water.
  3. Place drip tray in position; insert water reservoir.
  4. Plug power cord into 120V outlet.

WARNING! Ensure brewer is on a heat-resistant surface away from edges. Keep away from water sources.

First-Time Use

Prime the system before first brew.

  1. Fill reservoir with fresh cold water to MAX line.
  2. Place a large mug (12 oz or more) on drip tray.
  3. Turn brewer on; wait for READY light.
  4. Lift and close handle without inserting pod; press 12 oz brew button.
  5. Repeat process 3 times to prime system.
  6. Brewer is now ready for use.

CAUTION! Do not use distilled water. Use filtered or tap water for optimal performance.

Control Panel: Power button, 4 brew size buttons (6, 8, 10, 12 oz), Strong brew button, Add Water indicator, Descaling indicator.

Operation: Power ON/OFF, select brew size, activate Strong brew if desired. Indicators show when water is low or descaling is needed.

Settings: Auto-off (fixed at 2 hours), Strong brew (increases temperature and brew time). No programmable settings available.

Brewing Coffee

Brews single servings using K-Cup pods.

  1. Ensure brewer is on and READY light is illuminated.
  2. Place mug on drip tray.
  3. Lift handle, insert K-Cup pod, close handle firmly.
  4. Select brew size (6, 8, 10, or 12 oz).
  5. Press Strong button if desired for bolder coffee.
  6. Brewing begins automatically; completes in under 1 minute.
  7. Remove mug; brewer is ready for next use.

Tip: For hotter coffee, run a water-only brew cycle before inserting pod.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash water reservoir and drip tray.
  3. Monthly: Clean needle that pierces K-Cup with paper clip.
  4. As needed: Run water-only brew cycles to clear coffee residues.

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Do not immerse brewer in water.

Descaling

Descale when indicator lights or every 3-6 months.

  1. Fill reservoir with descaling solution or white vinegar mixed with water.
  2. Place large container on drip tray.
  3. Run multiple brew cycles until reservoir is empty.
  4. Rinse thoroughly by running 2-3 reservoirs of fresh water.
  5. Descale indicator will reset automatically.

WARNING! Use only Keurig descaling solution or vinegar. Rinse thoroughly to avoid taste residue.
