Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a clean, level, and stable surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash the removable water reservoir and lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Insert the charcoal water filter into the reservoir (soak filter first for 5 minutes).
  4. Fill the reservoir with fresh water and place it onto the brewer.
  5. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Ensure the brewer is placed away from heat sources and edges of countertops. Do not immerse the brewer base in water.

First-Time Use

Power on the brewer; follow priming steps.

  1. Press the POWER button. The display will light up.
  2. Lift and close the brewer handle (without a K-Cup pod) to puncture the water system.
  3. Place a large mug (at least 10 oz) on the drip tray.
  4. Select the 12 oz brew size and press BREW. The brewer will run water through the system to prime it. Discard this water.
  5. Repeat the priming process 2-3 times until the water runs clear.

CAUTION! The first few brews may produce hot water and steam. Keep hands and face clear.

Access settings via the LCD display and front panel buttons.

Front Panel: POWER, 6oz, 8oz, 10oz, 12oz brew size buttons, STRENGTH CONTROL, BREW button.

LCD Display: Shows selected brew size, strength icon ("Strong"), auto-off countdown, and status messages (e.g., "Add Water," "Descale").

Settings: Strength Control (press to toggle stronger brew on/off), Auto-Off (default 2 hours, cannot be disabled), Brew Size Selection (press desired size button).

Brewing Coffee

Brews using Keurig K-Cup pods.

  1. Press POWER to turn on. The brewer will heat (takes about 1 minute).
  2. Lift the handle and insert a K-Cup pod. Close the handle firmly.
  3. Place a mug on the drip tray (adjust height if needed for travel mugs).
  4. Select your desired brew size (6, 8, 10, or 12 oz).
  5. For a stronger brew, press the STRENGTH CONTROL button (icon lights up).
  6. Press the BREW button. Brewing will start and complete automatically.
  7. After brewing, lift the handle to eject the used K-Cup pod.

Tip: For best results, use filtered water and run a cleansing brew weekly without a pod.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and taste.

  1. External Cleaning: Unplug brewer. Wipe exterior with a damp, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  2. Water Reservoir: Remove and wash weekly with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Drip Tray & K-Cup Holder: Remove and wash regularly. The drip tray collects overflow.
  4. Needle: If clogged, unplug brewer and use a paper clip to gently clear the entrance and exit needles.
  5. Charcoal Filter: Replace every 2 months or after 60 tank refills.

CAUTION! Never immerse the brewer base, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.

Descaling Procedure

The descale indicator will light when mineral buildup requires removal.

  1. Purchase Keurig Descaling Solution or use a vinegar-water mixture (not recommended for optimal maintenance).
  2. Empty and rinse the water reservoir.
  3. Pour the entire bottle of descaling solution into the reservoir, then fill to the max line with water.
  4. Place a large mug (at least 10 oz) on the drip tray.
  5. Press POWER, then press and hold the 8oz and 12oz buttons for 3 seconds to enter descale mode.
  6. Press BREW. The brewer will run solution through in partial bursts. Empty the mug after each burst.
  7. Repeat until "Add Water" appears on the display.
  8. Rinse reservoir thoroughly, fill with fresh water, and run multiple water-only brew cycles to rinse the system.

WARNING! Descaling involves hot liquids. Handle with care. Follow solution instructions precisely.
