Initial Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface away from heat sources.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside brewer.
  2. Wash removable water reservoir with warm, soapy water; rinse thoroughly.
  3. Fill reservoir with fresh water and insert into brewer.
  4. Plug power cord into 120V AC outlet.
  5. Prime the brewer: Turn on, place a large mug, run water through without a K-Cup pod.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Ensure brewer is plugged into grounded outlet.

Brewing Coffee

Power on brewer; wait for READY indicator.

  1. Lift handle, insert K-Cup pod, close handle firmly.
  2. Place mug on drip tray.
  3. Select cup size: Press 6, 8, 10, or 12 oz button.
  4. For stronger coffee: Press STRONG BREW before selecting size.
  5. Press BREW button to start.
  6. Brewing completes automatically; remove mug.

CAUTION! Hot surfaces; keep hands away from exit needle and brewed liquid.

  4. As needed: Descale when indicator lights.

Tip: Unplug brewer before cleaning any parts.

Descaling

Required when DESCALE indicator lights or every 3-6 months.

  1. Purchase Keurig descaling solution or white vinegar.
  2. Fill reservoir with descaling solution or equal parts vinegar/water.
  3. Run brew cycles without K-Cup until reservoir is empty.
  4. Rinse reservoir, fill with fresh water, run multiple cycles to flush.
  5. Descale indicator resets automatically.

WARNING! Use only approved descaling solutions; follow instructions carefully.

Energy Saving Features

Auto-off: Turns off after 2 hours (adjustable to 4hr or off). Energy saving mode: Reduces standby power consumption.
