Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials from brewer and drip tray.
  2. Wash removable parts: Drip tray and water reservoir with warm soapy water; rinse thoroughly.
  3. Place drip tray onto brewer base.
  4. Plug power cord into 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Ensure brewer is unplugged during cleaning. Keep away from water sources to prevent electric shock.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewer before first brew.

  1. Fill water reservoir with fresh cold water.
  2. Place a mug on drip tray.
  3. Press POWER to turn on; lights will illuminate.
  4. Lift and close handle without a K-Cup pod.
  5. Select largest brew size (10 oz) and press brew button to run water through system.
  6. Repeat once more to complete priming.
  7. Brewer is now ready for use with K-Cup pods.

CAUTION! Do not use without priming. Ensure handle is fully closed before brewing.

Controls and Operation

Front Panel: POWER button, Brew size buttons (6, 8, 10 oz), Descaling indicator light.

Brewing Steps:

  1. Press POWER to turn on; blue light illuminates.
  2. Lift handle, insert K-Cup pod, close handle firmly.
  3. Place mug on drip tray.
  4. Select desired brew size by pressing corresponding button.
  5. Brew begins automatically; progress bar lights illuminate during brew.
  6. When brew finishes, brewer turns off automatically after 90 seconds.

Note: To brew another cup, repeat steps. Always use fresh water for each cup.

Brewing Guide

For optimal coffee quality.

  1. Use fresh, cold water for each brew.
  2. Choose K-Cup pod based on preferred roast and flavor.
  3. For stronger coffee, select smaller brew size (6 oz).
  4. Pre-warm mug with hot water for hotter coffee.
  5. Remove drip tray for travel mugs up to 7 inches tall.
  6. After brewing, discard used K-Cup pod immediately.

Tip: Experiment with brew sizes to find preferred strength.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures performance and longevity.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth; empty drip tray.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash drip tray and water reservoir in warm soapy water.
  3. Monthly: Clean needle that pierces K-Cup pod with paperclip to remove coffee grounds.
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator light turns on (see Descaling Procedure).

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Never immerse brewer in water.

Descaling Procedure

Descale every 3-6 months or when indicator light illuminates.

  1. Fill water reservoir with 16 oz white vinegar or Keurig descaling solution.
  2. Place large mug (16 oz or more) on drip tray.
  3. Press POWER to turn on.
  4. Lift and close handle without K-Cup pod.
  5. Press 10 oz brew button; let half of reservoir drain into mug, then pause 30 minutes.
  6. After pause, press 10 oz button again to dispense remaining solution.
  7. Discard solution, rinse mug, and fill reservoir with fresh water.
  8. Run multiple water-only brews (at least 12) until vinegar odor is gone.
  9. Descale light will turn off after process completion.

WARNING! Use only approved descaling solutions. Rinse thoroughly to avoid vinegar taste.

Troubleshooting
