Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and stickers from brewer.
  2. Wash removable parts (drip tray, reservoir) with warm, soapy water.
  3. Place brewer on counter away from heat sources and water splashes.
  4. Plug power cord into 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Ensure brewer is unplugged during cleaning. Do not immerse brewer in water.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewer before first brew.

  1. Fill reservoir with fresh, cold water to MAX line.
  2. Place a mug on drip tray.
  3. Press POWER to turn brewer on (light will blink).
  4. Lift and close handle without inserting a K-Cup pod.
  5. Press BREW button to run water through system (repeat 2-3 times).
  6. Brewer is now ready for use.

CAUTION! Use only cold, filtered water. Do not use distilled water.

Controls and Settings

Front Panel: POWER button, BREW button, STRONG button, Descale light.

Operation: Press POWER to turn on (light solid). Add water, insert K-Cup, close handle, select cup size (press BREW repeatedly to cycle sizes: 6oz → 8oz → 10oz → 12oz). Press STRONG before brewing for bolder coffee. Press BREW to start.

Descale Alert: Light flashes when descaling is required.

Auto-Off: Brewer turns off 90 seconds after last brew to save energy.

Brewing Coffee

Brews 6, 8, 10, or 12 oz cups using K-Cup pods.

  1. Press POWER to turn brewer on.
  2. Fill reservoir with cold water to desired cup size line.
  3. Place mug on drip tray.
  4. Lift handle, insert K-Cup pod, close handle firmly.
  5. Select cup size by pressing BREW button (cycles through sizes).
  6. For stronger coffee, press STRONG button (light will illuminate).
  7. Press BREW button to start brewing.
  8. Remove mug after brewing completes.

Tip: For best results, use fresh, cold water and brew immediately after filling reservoir.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Unplug brewer and allow to cool.
  2. Remove and wash drip tray, reservoir, and K-Cup holder with warm, soapy water.
  3. Wipe exterior with damp cloth; do not use abrasive cleaners.
  4. Monthly: Run vinegar solution (50/50 water and vinegar) through brew cycle without K-Cup pod to clean internal parts.
  5. Rinse by running multiple cycles of clean water.

WARNING! Never immerse brewer in water. Unplug before cleaning.

Descaling

Descale when light flashes or every 3-6 months.

  1. Fill reservoir with 16 oz white vinegar and 16 oz water.
  2. Place large mug on drip tray.
  3. Press POWER, then BREW to start cycle (no K-Cup pod).
  4. After half the solution brews, turn brewer off and wait 30 minutes.
  5. Turn on and brew remaining solution.
  6. Rinse by brewing 12 oz fresh water 3-4 times.
  7. Descale light will turn off.

CAUTION! Use only Keurig descaling solution or white vinegar. Rinse thoroughly.
