Unpacking and Setup

Remove all packaging materials. Place on clean, stable, level surface.

  1. Remove tape and packaging: Check inside K-Cup holder for protective materials.
  2. Wash removable parts: Rinse reservoir and drip tray with warm water.
  3. Place drip tray: Ensure it's properly seated.
  4. Fill reservoir: Remove, fill with fresh cold water, reinsert.
  5. Plug into outlet: Use 120V AC power source.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first brew.

  1. Power on: Press POWER button; lights will illuminate.
  2. Prime system: Without K-Cup pod, place mug, press BREW button to run water through.
  3. Repeat priming: Run 2-3 full reservoirs to clear internal lines.
  4. Insert K-Cup: Lift handle, insert pod, close firmly.
  5. Brew first cup: Place mug, press BREW button.

CAUTION! Water will be hot. Do not touch during brew cycle.

Operation: Press POWER to turn on (lights illuminate). Add water to reservoir. Lift handle, insert K-Cup, close firmly. Place mug on drip tray. Press BREW button. Brewer will automatically turn off 90 seconds after cycle.

Brew Size Selection: Press and hold BREW button during brew to cycle through 6, 8, 10, 12 oz options. Release at desired size.

Brewing Instructions

For optimal coffee quality.

  1. Fill reservoir: Use fresh cold water only.
  2. Insert K-Cup: Lift handle, place pod in holder, close firmly.
  3. Place mug: Ensure drip tray is properly positioned.
  4. Select size: Default is last used size; hold BREW to change.
  5. Start brew: Press BREW button; cycle completes automatically.
  6. Remove pod: Lift handle after brewing; discard used pod.

Tip: Preheat mug with hot water for hotter coffee.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash reservoir, drip tray, K-Cup holder in warm soapy water.
  3. Monthly: Clean needle that pierces K-Cup with paperclip (unplug first).
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator light comes on.

CAUTION! Unplug before cleaning. Do not immerse brewer in water.

Descaling Procedure

Required every 3-6 months or when descale light illuminates.

  1. Prepare solution: Mix Keurig descaling solution or white vinegar with equal water.
  2. Fill reservoir: Pour solution into empty reservoir.
  3. Start descale: Place large mug, press BREW without K-Cup.
  4. Repeat: Continue until reservoir is empty.
  5. Rinse: Fill reservoir with fresh water, run multiple cycles to flush.
  6. Reset: Descale light will turn off after completion.
