Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials: Take off all tape and stickers.
  2. Wash removable parts: Clean drip tray and water reservoir with warm, soapy water.
  3. Place brewer: Ensure at least 4 inches clearance on all sides for ventilation.
  4. Plug into outlet: Use 120V AC power outlet only.

WARNING! Do not use outdoors or near heat sources. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewer before first use.

  1. Fill reservoir: Add fresh cold water up to MAX line.
  2. Power on: Press POWER button; brewer will heat (approx. 3 minutes).
  3. Prime system: Place a mug on drip tray, press BREW without K-Cup to run water through.
  4. Repeat: Run 2-3 cycles of plain water to flush system.
  5. Insert K-Cup: Lift handle, place pod in holder, close firmly.
  6. Select brew size: Use button to choose desired ounce setting.
  7. Brew: Press BREW button to start cycle.

CAUTION! Water and brewed beverage will be hot. Handle with care.

Controls and Operation

Front panel: POWER button, BREW button, brew size indicator lights.

Operation: Press POWER to turn on (light illuminates). Add water if needed. Lift handle, insert K-Cup, close firmly. Place mug on drip tray. Select brew size (press brew size button to cycle through options). Press BREW to start. Brewer will automatically turn off 90 seconds after brew cycle completes.

Brew Size Selection: 6 oz (strong), 8 oz (medium), 10 oz (mild), 12 oz (light).

Brewing Guide

For optimal coffee quality.

  1. Use fresh, cold water: Do not use distilled or softened water.
  2. Preheat mug: Run hot water through empty mug before brewing.
  3. Choose K-Cup: Select desired coffee, tea, or hot cocoa pod.
  4. Insert properly: Ensure K-Cup is seated correctly in holder.
  5. Select brew size: Smaller size = stronger brew; larger size = milder brew.
  6. Start brew: Press BREW; cycle completes in 1-2 minutes.
  7. Remove pod: Lift handle after brewing; discard used K-Cup.

Tip: For iced beverages, brew over ice using smaller brew size.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Daily: Wipe exterior with damp cloth.
  2. Weekly: Remove and wash drip tray and water reservoir.
  3. Monthly: Clean needle that punctures K-Cup (use paper clip when unplugged).
  4. As needed: Descale when indicator light comes on.

CAUTION! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Do not immerse in water.

Descaling

Required every 3-6 months to remove mineral buildup.

  1. Prepare solution: Mix Keurig descaling solution with water per instructions.
  2. Fill reservoir: Pour solution into water reservoir.
  3. Start descale: Place large container on drip tray, press BREW repeatedly until reservoir empty.
  4. Rinse: Fill reservoir with fresh water, brew multiple cycles until taste disappears.
  5. Reset: Hold brew size button for 5 seconds to reset descale indicator.

WARNING! Use only Keurig descaling solution or vinegar-water mix. Rinse thoroughly.
