Initial Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on clean, level, heat-resistant surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and stickers.
  2. Wash removable drip tray with warm, soapy water; rinse and dry.
  3. Plug power cord into 120V AC outlet.
  4. Prime the brewer: Lift handle, insert a K-Cup pod, close handle, place mug, press power, then brew without adding water to run a water-only cycle.

WARNING! Do not use without water. Keep away from edges to prevent tipping.

Brewing Your First Cup

Follow these steps for perfect coffee every time.

  1. Press POWER button; blue light will illuminate.
  2. Lift handle and insert your choice of K-Cup pod.
  3. Close handle firmly.
  4. Place mug or cup on drip tray.
  5. Select cup size (6, 8, 10, or 12 oz) using the button.
  6. Press BREW button; brewing will begin and complete automatically.
  7. After brewing, lift handle to eject used pod into storage compartment.

CAUTION! Brewer and water become hot during use. Do not touch hot surfaces.

Indicator Lights: Power On (steady blue), Brew in Progress (flashing blue), Descaling Alert (amber light), Cup Size Selected (corresponding light illuminated).

Operation: Press POWER to turn on. Select cup size. Press BREW to start. Brewer will auto-off 90 seconds after last use. Descaling light turns on when mineral buildup requires cleaning.

Cleaning & Maintenance

External cleaning: Unplug, wipe with damp cloth. Internal cleaning: Run water-only brew cycles periodically.

  1. Unplug brewer and let cool completely.
  2. Wipe exterior with soft, damp cloth; do not immerse.
  3. Remove and wash drip tray and pod holder in warm, soapy water weekly.
  4. Wipe needle (inside K-Cup holder) with paper clip to clear coffee grounds monthly.

Tip: Always empty pod storage compartment regularly.

Descaling Procedure

Required when descale light illuminates or every 3-6 months.

  1. Purchase Keurig Descaling Solution or white vinegar.
  2. Fill reservoir with descaling solution or equal parts vinegar and water.
  3. Place large mug (16 oz or more) on drip tray.
  4. Press POWER, then BREW (do not insert pod). Repeat until reservoir is empty.
  5. Rinse: Fill reservoir with fresh water, brew repeatedly (no pod) until solution smell is gone.
  6. Descale light will turn off after process completion.

WARNING! Use only approved descaling agents. Rinse thoroughly to avoid taste residue.

Energy Saving Features

Auto-Off: Brewer turns off 90 seconds after last brew to save energy. To disable: Press and hold POWER for 3 seconds until light flashes (re-enable same way).
