Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a clean, level, stable surface away from edges.

  1. Remove all packaging materials from inside and outside the brewer.
  2. Wash the removable water reservoir with warm, soapy water; rinse thoroughly.
  3. Place the drip tray in position. Ensure the water reservoir is securely seated.
  4. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use the brewer without water. Ensure the water reservoir is filled before brewing.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewing system before first use.

  1. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water to the MAX fill line.
  2. Place a large mug (at least 10 oz) on the drip tray.
  3. Press the Power button to turn the brewer on. The heating light will illuminate.
  4. When the Ready light turns on, lift and close the handle without inserting a K-Cup pod.
  5. Press the 12 oz brew button to run water through the system. Discard this water.
  6. Repeat the priming process once more. The brewer is now ready for use.

CAUTION! The exterior may become hot during use. Avoid touching heated surfaces.

Controls and Settings

Front Panel: Power Button, Brew Size Buttons (6, 8, 10, 12 oz), Indicator Lights (Power, Heating, Ready, Descaling).

Operation: Press Power to turn on. Heating light illuminates while water heats. Ready light indicates brewer is hot and ready to brew. Select brew size after inserting a K-Cup pod. The Descaling light will flash when maintenance is required.

Settings: Auto-off cannot be disabled. Brew size is selected per brew cycle.

Brewing Coffee

Brews one cup at a time using Keurig K-Cup pods.

  1. Ensure the brewer is on and the Ready light is illuminated.
  2. Lift the handle to open the K-Cup pod holder.
  3. Insert a K-Cup pod. Close the handle firmly.
  4. Place a mug on the drip tray.
  5. Press the desired brew size button (6, 8, 10, or 12 oz). Brewing will begin.
  6. When brewing is complete, lift the handle to eject the used K-Cup pod.

Tip: For best results, use fresh, cold water. Rinse the water reservoir periodically.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and taste.

  1. Unplug the brewer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Wash the water reservoir, lid, and drip tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
  3. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse in water.
  4. Clean the needle that pierces the K-Cup pod periodically with a paperclip to remove coffee grounds.
  5. Run a water-only brew cycle (without a K-Cup) monthly to flush the system.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals.

Descaling

Mineral buildup from water can affect performance. The Descaling light will flash when required.

  1. Purchase Keurig Descaling Solution or use a vinegar-water mix (not recommended for all models).
  2. Fill the water reservoir with descaling solution or a mix of equal parts white vinegar and water.
  3. Place a large mug on the drip tray. Run a brew cycle without a K-Cup pod. Discard the liquid.
  4. Repeat until the water reservoir is empty.
  5. Rinse thoroughly by filling the reservoir with fresh water and running multiple water-only brew cycles.
  6. Continue rinsing until the vinegar odor is gone. The Descaling light will turn off.

WARNING! Descaling solution/vinegar is not for consumption. Rinse thoroughly.

Troubleshooting
