Unpacking and Setup

Remove all packaging materials. Place brewer on a stable, level surface.

  1. Remove packaging: Take brewer and components out of box; discard plastic bags.
  2. Wash reservoir: Remove water reservoir, wash with warm soapy water, rinse, and dry.
  3. Position brewer: Place on counter away from edges, sinks, and heat sources.
  4. Plug in: Connect power cord to outlet.

WARNING! Handle with care. Do not immerse brewer in water. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.

First-Time Use

Prime the brewer before first brew.

  1. Fill reservoir: Lift reservoir, fill with fresh cold water, replace securely.
  2. Power on: Press POWER button; blue light will illuminate.
  3. Prime: Place a mug on drip tray. Lift and close handle without a K-Cup pod. Select largest brew size (12 oz) and press brew button. Discard water.
  4. Repeat: Prime with a second full reservoir of water.

CAUTION! Use only cold, fresh water. Do not use distilled water.

Controls and Indicators

Front Panel: POWER button (blue light), 6 oz, 8 oz, 10 oz, 12 oz brew size buttons (LED indicators).

Operation: Press POWER to turn on/off. Select brew size by pressing corresponding button (light will illuminate). Press selected button again to start brew cycle.

Indicator Lights: Blue power light indicates brewer is on. Flashing brew button indicates heating/brewing in progress. Solid brew button light indicates ready to brew.

Brewing Your Beverage

Brew with any licensed K-Cup pod.

  1. Power on: Press POWER button; wait for blue light.
  2. Place mug: Put mug on drip tray (remove tray for tall mugs).
  3. Insert pod: Lift handle, place K-Cup pod in holder, close handle firmly.
  4. Select size: Press desired brew size button (6, 8, 10, or 12 oz).
  5. Start brew: Press same button again; brewing begins.
  6. Enjoy: Brew completes automatically; discard used pod.

Tip: For stronger coffee, select smaller brew size. Do not use reusable pods unless specified compatible.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance.

  1. Exterior: Wipe with damp cloth; do not use abrasive cleaners.
  2. Drip tray and reservoir: Remove, wash with warm soapy water weekly.
  3. Pod holder assembly: Lift handle, remove funnel, wash with warm soapy water.
  4. Needle: Check for clogs; clear with paper clip if necessary (unplug first).

CAUTION! Unplug brewer before cleaning. Never immerse brewer in water.

Descaling

Descale every 3-6 months to remove mineral buildup.

  1. Prepare solution: Mix Keurig Descaling Solution with equal parts water in reservoir.
  2. Start descale: Place large mug on tray. Power on, lift and close handle without pod. Press 12 oz button twice to start cycle.
  3. Repeat: Refill reservoir with fresh water. Repeat brew cycle (without pod) until reservoir empty.
  4. Rinse: Wash reservoir thoroughly; fill with fresh water and run multiple brew cycles to rinse.
